Please compare the sound quality to the $99 Samsung AKG wired buds that are still "free" with Galaxy phone. No one has done this most obvious comparison as of yet in the whole world. That was before they wanted to sell every one these more profitable buds. What bluetooth codec is being used.

Yes you can but you need to hook it up to your blue tooth these work better with galexy tho but you are able to do it with normal androids

When you first opened the case to the buds, I said to myself, pshh they look just like my $50 jLab jBuds. But then you showed off the software and how deeply integrated they are in the phone itself. And the fact that it has a touch pad whereas mine has physical buttons you depress. They look really cool and you did a nice job demonstrating how they work and the software integration.

I have those same ones and thought these were a ripoff of the Jlab ones because they look so similar and the case is almost the same. The jlab ones are alright but they don't sync up well when watching videos and the sound quality isn't too high. I'm sure these Samsung ones are way better tho. At least I hope🤣

There quite cheap now, you can find them for about 90-120£ so I may get some as I’ve only got a cheap pair of budget ones in which only one of them works😂🔥

Just came here to say 5 years later I still have the same pair they are the earbuds that are indestructible, gym, work, camping, dog chewed the case, got in the shower with them accidentally, left in the hot car, tossed thrown everything I’ve thrown at them in five years and they still work like new I even use them as ear plugs at the range I’m so impressed with these buds I know I need to let them go and buy newer ones but they have been so loyal to me thank you galaxy buds it’s been a heck of a ride and you stay true every time

I've always had a Samsung phone, and they come with the earbuds. But I've just always found that the round plug-in kind never stay in for me, no matter what size or rubber I put on them. So have always been using the 'apple type' earbuds. I really want to get the galaxy buds when they come out though, but am just concerned that they won't stay in right. I know they have the little wing and everything to help, but I don't want that to be all that's holding them in. Any opinions about this? Anyone had problems with the more round earbud style but found galaxy buds (or similar) are actually ok?

It states that the buds support android 5.0 and above at the back of the box. So we can safely assume that you can use the galaxy buds with the S8

I saw another reviewer talking about this. He said he works out for two hours 6 times a week. And hes almost always wearing them. He said the sweat literally had no effect on anything. They didn't slip and nothing about the buds was affected. Looks good basically

As YMCM said below me, ive also had these for around 5 years now and im so happy with them. They withstand everything! And the sound is still banging. The only complaint i have is that the silicone around the wings are falling apart and the battery is alittle bit worse. But what can u expect, they are 5 years old :)

I really wish Samsung called the Galaxy Buds the "Galaxy Buds 3" as they are very similar to the Gear IconX and the average Joe won't be confused and say "Damn, Samsung is so behind, they just came out with wireless buds" when in fact they have had them for 2-3 years now with the Gear IconX. Also I wished Samsung rebranded the Galaxy Watch to "Galaxy Watch 4" again for the same reason, so people won't get confused and say look how behind Samsung is, Apple is on their Series 4 watch meanwhile Samsung just came out with their first watch, the Galaxy Watch.

I'll probably be posting this comment amongst other Galaxy Buds videos so I apologize. If you want to buy the buds before they're released separately and (maybe, depends) for less than $130, go to eBay and/or Mercari. I just bought my brand new for $100 on Mercari so I'd look there first. They're selling fast and people are always selling them. Just please be aware of sketchy sellers.
