They stay in my ears when running and become unnoticeable. They are tight but comfortable. The sound quality is about the same as the 1st gen buds. They pair more easily with my LG G8 ThinQ and immediately reconnect when removed from the case. The sound balance is excellent, good but not overpowering base and clean mid tones and highs.Cons: The noise cancellation is good but perhaps a little less effective than the Bose ANC on the 1st gen buds. Passthrough mode as not as good as the 1st gen buds making it a little more difficult to hear conversations when in passthrough.

I don't get it. I keep reading and hearing about the audio lag on these. I have a cheap over the ear pair oh headphones(12 euro). They don't have lag, good to very good sound and they last 5 hours. If I pay 100 euro on this and they lag, somebody gets hurt.

Edit: my Black Buds+ did arrive! I'm already in love with those. I use them on my Windows 10 PC and Note 10+ with no problem. The fact that you can turn the Ambient sound enhancer ON and OFF on the Buds is amazing, OFF is basically a Passive noise cancelling and with lvl 4 (Extra High) you get super hearing ^^ They are far superior to my Air Pods 1 in every way. I did Order my Black Buds Yesterday so they should arrive today in a couple of hours :) I did use the Air Pods 1 and i always did miss the feature to change the sound volume without taking out my Phone. I also ordered the Samsung Wireless Charging Duo Pad :)

I’d use them mostly for phone calls. The previous buds weren’t very good with phone calls. How much better are these? Can the person on the other end hear you really clearly and loud? Previous ones were super faint. Thanks Saki!

Can you advise a good app to record calls? I didnt find any in the Samsung apps. I had CallX that worked perfectly until I installed Androud 10 One UI 2.0 in my Note 9, then it appears to record but there's no sound now. The old messages that worked prior to the upgrade are atill there and I can hear them. Thanks.

No you don't need to use both at the same time you can keep one in the charging case, just got some and that's one of my favorite features.

If you take these away from the house with you without the case are they usable? The manual says they enter sleep mode after 3 minutes of not pairing so I guess that will save battery when you're not using them as they're out of the case, but can you pair them from sleep mode without having the case to open? Mine keep dripping signal in the left bud. I have to put the bud back in the charger to reset it. If I dont the audio wont play, but I still get the ambient sound pass through, but no audio from and bluetooth source. Did you ever experience this?

Yea this was a common issue. I had it as well the fix is to reset your buds completely from the app and don't forget to download the app smart things.

I'm planning to buy this because I wan't my buds to connect to my macbook and S10+ simultaneously so I don't need to switch between the two everytime. Thanks for the review. But there is still no voice command to control the volume, to pause or to play previous or next music track. Or to accept and reject call. I thought it's going to be very helpful if we use the galaxy buds under the helmet.

I just received mine today. The new ones are much more responsive to touch. It's instantaneous compared to the older ones. Also there is a noticeable performance in sound and no latency . It's crazy fast to the touch. Only things I don't like is that they are glossy and the case does not have that extra level of the opening of the case.

The buds look in my opinion pretty good when you wear them. They aren't too big and also not too small, feel comfortable and fit perfectly. They work with ios devices as good as with Samsung or in general android devices. You just have to download the wearable app on your iphone and you're going to have the same futures as an Samsung user. Wireless charging works perfectly and is really quick I charge mine most of the time wireless. The sound quality is pretty good in my opinion but there are for sure earphones that have better sound. Still they sound pretty good. In my opinion dynamic is the best option and makes your music sound the best but it also depends of what type of music you like. You will get a better sound when the earbuds+ fit perfectly into your ear so make sure that you use the right eartips.😊

A tip for if you own these: if you enable "double tap earbud edge" you can just double tap the outside of your ear and the volume will change. You dont need to tab the earbud.

These things sound good, period. Especially considering the audio quality you get while these being Bluetooth headphones, hut Just got mine last night. I had the original Galaxy Buds as well and these definitely are an upgrade for sure in every way (connectivity, fit, and soundwise). Is it some huge incremental upgrade? Honestly no. But anyone that tells you the new Buds+ are NOT better than the originals is lying to you. I haven't tried out the phone call quality yet but there is an extra mic in each bud this year so I'm sure that area has gotten cleaned up quite a bit.
