I bought Galaxy J7 2017 3 days ago.. But nobody told me that it is IP54. I just read that around the internet. Do you think that only PRO is IP54 or J7 2017 is too? Will it be okay under normal rain and snow if it is IP54?

"J7" falls under budget range so no question of any IP Ratings! And regarding "J7 PRO" i have proved it in the video that it is NOT IP54 Rated! ..if the device gets slightly wet then there should be no issues unless u drop it UNDER water for more than 20-30 secondz!! ..thnx 4 watchin' bro! ✌(:

It's February 2023 and I am still using it, brought it in September 2017. It currently charges 4% in 5 minutes. So it takes slightly more than 2 hours to complete 0 to 100 % charge. The switch on/off button became unfunctional about 6 months ago, I have to start my phone clicking on the home button. Sometimes when the charge drops below 30%, the phone automatically switches off. I have 12 board exams this March. Hopefully I would get a new phone after exams : )

I did, 10 days back, and after that, 3 -4 different people were unable to repair it, including Samsung service center, and now when you start the phone, inside 2 mins it will shut down, stating that the Device is overheating and it needs to close all app and need to shut down. In repair shop, he did all his tricks and turns, but the engineer wasn't able to build. Service center, said it might be charging problem, as soon as they realised it has some mother board issue, they handed over the device back to me, without any solution. Local repair guy tried removing the Thermostat, which may send such notification, but still no work. Did a factor restart too. But no luck. Had to say goodbye to that phone after 26 months.
