KZbin doesn't work because it's running a decade old version of Android which is not supported anymore in 2024. Strongly advise against buying this phone in 2024 as it is incompatible with all the latest apps and if you have this phone, please keep it as a collector's item.

Yes, you can use it for calling and messaging. Keep in mind that this phone runs 3G and some countries/carriers discontinued 3G.
