DISCLAIMER - I am using a Note 10+ but I am not being biased about it, this comment applies to all the phones that have launched or are about to get launched this year. well here's my thought - tech channels compare mostly to the phone that they were using previously, which mostly is a device from the same year, whereas majority of the common folks will look for a switch after 1 or 2 years or maybe even 3 years of usage so they are obviously getting a lot of new features from the previous phone that they had. I myself coming from an LG V30+ find huge improvements in the new device.

uses of s pen: -good in editing photos/videos.. -magnifier.. -fast language translator while hovering, specially im working in foreign country. very useful when reading their news -camera shutter on group.. -instant notes is beautiful.. no other phone have such features.. some are gimmic as they say, but fun to use sometimes..🤣

The Spen has its uses for sure but I always had to remind myself that its there and I should use it. Since this is the only phone with a stylus it's not common practice to expect it so you keep forgetting its there and I hardly use it even though it's really good at what it does.

With the spen by holding down the button while selecting text, you can select text for copying etc when normally you can't select the text any other way.. If all else fails, you can use smart select, lasso the text and ocr or pin it to the screen for reference while inputting on another screen. . Also using the spen to highlight circuits on a wiring diagram or writing actual values on an image using screen write then saving it as a picture to open it in split screen with the value chart is killer. If all i did was talk and use social media all day then other phones may be a better value for me... but for business... any other phone? getouttahere.

Win Nguyen I agree about the Apple Watch. I carry both the Note 10+ and the iPhone. It’s mainly because of the Apple Watch that I simply cannot get rid of an iPhone altogether. Plus, iPhones are sometimes better at video than Samsung.

Ofcourse it still doesn't have the actual cool features including one hand mode that no reviewer mention how pain in the ass its absence Is on a 6.6 screen but anyway, good luck with your beautiful Nokia. Hopefully it will be as function as samsung shit one day... at least they started with the dark mode,,,, hurray for u.

Agree, I'm a oneplus 7 pro user and used different phones but Samsung is the best phone among Androids in terms of features and quality, in my opinion! honestly, I'm obsessed with stock Android and oxygen os but suddenly I realize that it's boring when compares to one Ui, emui and miui in terms of features, gesture and customization, the only edge of stock over other Android skins is faster updates which I don' t see any significant changes after several updates with my unit e.g(the camera on my op7 pro is still the same and poor battery life!) PS: I'll sell my unit once the Rog 2 released the global version.

I initially ended up with the Aura Black but honestly overall the three regular colors Samsung offered, I didnt really like. Then I saw the Aura Blue!!!!!! I immediately let the Aura Black go and I finally got my hands on the Aura Blue, which by the way is definitely one of the best shade of Blue I've ever seen but what I wanted even more, the first time I saw the Blue, I saw it completed what I instantly knew would look awesome and be truly one of a kind. To me Blue and Red or Red and Blue are one my favorite two colors, two they contrast better than any other colors and three they equal Marvel to me. I had already seen the incredible Aura Red Note 10 6.3 inch which I plan to get my hands on one at some point I hope but I ordered the Red S Pen to specifically use with the Aura Blue and to be my custom Captain America Device. The hint of Red against the Blue enhances the Blue and makes the Red stand out but with taste. If I could post pictures here I would. I uploaded a vlog on my channel about though if anyone is curious to see how perfect it looks. Great vlog as always man. I enjoy your content!!!

Very well done, fair review. I upgraded from the Note 9 to the 10 Plus and I am very happy with it. I am a Note user though. I have had them all since the Note 2. If someone doesn't need/want the S-Pen, they should certainly be considering the S-10 or OnePlus 7 Pro. Definitely can't go wrong with the Note, but there are less expensive options that may be better suited for some.

There is another reason some of us are going to the 10+, and it's the pen. Speaking from personal experience, trying to do emails, do messages is very hard to do for bigger handed people, who like wise have extremely large fingers. With the pen, it's far easier to get tasks done (without that blasted auto-correct) that smaller fingered people seem to have no trouble with. Personally, I have been waiting for this thing to come out, and get on the market for a while before I finally broke down and bought one, glad that I did. Was it costly, yes it was. But, it was an upgrade all around for me. Also, as a person that is a heavy sweater (living in Texas), I stay wet all day. Having to have this phone on my side, others get wet through the ear-piece, and short the phone out, or collect the water, and ruin the phone all together. Having one that is waterproof, is just an added plus. Just my thoughts. But, then again, I multi-task alot, so i find the price worth it. Just my thoughts, ScottishxPride, Tx.

2022...i just bought the Note 10 Plus yesterday. I have the S21+ since 8 months,and i had years ago the Note3 and Note4 so I know how great it is to have that S-pen device. But this Note 10 Plus is one of the best devices ever build. QHD curved screen is amazing. I always loved the curved screen. I had the S8+,S9+, S7edge and S10+ till last week,so I know how great this screen is. I prefer this curved screen instead a flat screen. I sold my Windows laptop and bought this Note10. Because i have a Acer 514 Spin Chromebook,so my Windows laptop was nomore needed. It's all Google/Android now. And I love it💪

Mx keys are amazing, 3 devices can be connected, back lit, smooth typing. A lot less hassle to connect with Bluetooth than the Microsoft keyboard.

Higher refreshing rate means a lot more battery consumption. The display consume the most battery. Most people prefer longer battery life over faster response feeling I think. You can change the animation rate in the developer setting if you want to feel faster response on the screen.

Ok, I have a Galaxy Note 8 coming to the end of its 24 month contract, so do I find a new Note 10 Plus contract deal as I've enjoyed the Note 8 and have got bitten by the Galaxy Note model bugs since the Note 2 version? I enjoy using my Note 8 for many things as we all do with our 'Phablets' including typing with a fold up bluetooth qwerty keyboard for any document work while in a cafe and where you can pull them straight from your jacket pocket when needed. Hmmm, thinking I will upgrade to the Note 10 Plus as my mind thinks of all the improved features.

0:56 If you pit the S10 plus vs the Note 10 plus you have cleared missed what the Note is all about. The value of the Note 10 is in the extra Note features it offers. If you do not need them then the Note is not for you! That should not be the basis of declaring the S10+ as better value for everyone just because you personally do not use the extra features of the Note.

I just got one and it's going back .cant fast charge in my car without hunting down a 60 dollar wireless car charger that isnt gonna fast charge it any way and it does NOT stay charged all day with the same usage I gave my one plus 6 t that actually gave me a true 24 hours between charges with HEAVY USE . Frankly I'm really disappointed it's not worth 110 bucks when you can get everything but the pen out of a one plus for half the price do yourself a favor and try one plus I think you'll see my point

Props for doing an actual daily use review, most youtube tech reviewers, just do a preview with stats, and maybe a review after a day at the most of using the phone. And they basically only do in depth reviews on apple or samsung, because those generate the most views, yet totally ignore LG, Sony, and other brands. So..... Please do a month test with the iphone 11, 11 pro max, LG G8x Dual Screen, Huawei MATE 30, and the Google 4XL as your daily driver. I do like the screen but not the "hole defect" in it, glad to see samsung and other's finally adopting the lg style ultra wide and multiple cameras on the rear, and their selfie camera is top notch. SAMSUNG still needs a pro manual video and photo and audio mode, like Sony and LG, for pro users that do not want the camera doing everything for them. Even if the stiching multiple shots together, sharpening, beautifying, noise reduction, ai, algorythms, computational predictive output, etc, makes it more pleasing to the eye. There was absolutely no reason to take away the headphone jack, other than to sell galaxy buds, that was a very bad move by samsung$$, and the note 10 also got rid of the sd card, which is ridiculous, but the worse thing is them lying about they needed more room for the battery to us all. Pay for the fastest fast charger, no headphone jack, buy your own dongle, buy their wireless earbuds... where have we heard that before. Thanks.

I'm loving the phone. I use the s pen a good amount and just enjoy the size of the phone in general since It's perfect for my hands and my exaggerated hitchhiker thumbs, allowing me the ability to text fast and efficiently without the thumbs getting stiff or cramped. Games run like the CoD mobile run like a dream on max settings. Speakers are amazing imo and I actually like how they shake the phone a bit with the bass, unlike other reviewers making a big deal about it. Watching Netflix on it is enjoyable too btw. Also, I don't have any issues with the hole punch and tbh I think it's silly to complain about something that you end up completely overlooking anyways (like your nose).

I thought so as well. But - they are falling out of my ears constantly. That's a first, my ears are quite normal. Sound quality - meh, clear but middle and bass is so-so. They really should be better..

@@userdjee834 I don't care that there is no embedded Jack but, in the first few devices that remove this feature, they should have put an adapter in the box to ease the transition. I don't like ear buds and prefer headphones. I had invested in some decent wired headphones and they cannot be used with this unless I buy Samsung's adapter

The note 10 is the phone I want next. My s8 had been a great phone but I want a better camera. I take alot of photos an it's just not very good.

It IS "about" the same size as the Note 9. And the Note 8 before it. Note 7 as well, but in each case, it has widened several millimeters. The more squared, less "tall and narrow" the better. Original Note was the squares of all. They started slimming with Note 2, and only reversed the trend over last 3 iterations. And I'm thrilled. A squared off slab with sharp corners is the ideal format and distinguishes it from the S line. Theres limits. We DO have to hold them with our hands, and not everyone can palm a basketball.
