Misleading video! If the screen has not been removed before then Original screen will be more difficult to remove first time. Very sad to see and that it is not noted for reference.

Just replaced my charging port, camera and screen! Just a tip... When removing the motherboard. There are 1 or 2 little black screws holding it down. He didn't mention that. Other than that, great tutorial!

You forgot to mention the removal of the screws of the main and the charger boards, I almost broke the board following you step by step, hmmm.

Take note, that he removes the LCD Screen before he removes the motherboard. It is not the other wau around...

It is easy to open the phone and pull the Display out, when de Display was repaired sometimes bevor Show a Video with a Note 4 which was never opened bevore

My guess is it will work since I bought a universal part, but it is not worth gambling when so much labor is involved in a repair. The last letter can hint at customizations done by the manufacturer for each phone provider or it can be just identifying which manufacturer bought the component. Stores often do price matching and then have the manufacturer add unique to the store suffix codes so they can claim when you find a cheaper source that it is not identical, but a different model.

Hi, I have a question. I picked up my phone (note 4) from repair (professional place), charging port replacement. I am not very happy. Entire bottom of the screen is lifted above the frame, it is flexing and home button is below the screen surface. Can something be done with this?, or entire screen has to be replaced. Thanks in advance.

basically, the replacement shop did you dirty and took a shortcut by not cleaning out the edges and or replacing them with new adhesive. that's why the glass is lifted now.

I would go back to the shop and talk to the owner. It is reasonable to expect the parts to be glued back together as they were both for appearance and protection of components. If the owner doesn't see that it is fixed properly complain to the Better Business Bureau and never use that shop again. Be sure to include a picture with the complaint, but give the owner or manager a chance to make the repair right. I am surprised you did not notice the loose fit when you went to pick up the repaired phone.

That is the one part the can be fixed just with a mending tape made for such use (since regular scotch tape is not that heat tolerant).

my note 4 is charging very slow even with quick charged mode turned on. but the thing is that my phone isnt displaying any quick charge notification * Charging very slowly * Charging status indicates USB Charging * isnt recognized by pc so i can see my files inside the phone, only charges while connected even though settings as set to act as a media storage when it is connected by usb * tried reseting phone and updating, clearing cache, & still nothing * tried various chargers and USB * also other batteries will replacing the charge dock port fix my problem?

You have to buy the fast chargers from Verizon (or your carrier), or from Samsung directly. If you buy the cheap ones from eBay, they are not coded for fast charging. Your carrier and Samsung use proprietary chips in their official chargers to support fast charging. Plus the fast chargers you buy on eBay break quickly. You can take it or leave it but I've purchased over 15 different chargers from eBay, none of them work and they break. The only ones that work correctly are the ones that I purchased through Verizon. And if they break I just activate the warranty and they send me a new one
