JenJen Hey! My main reasons were mainly because I find that Apple aren't making unique or innovative designs, but remaining with too similar things to their last 4 models but expecting users to pay a higher amount for each device. I also looked into the Note 8 and the stylus is really helpful for my course work and playing some games too! I also love the app pairing, where I can do two things at once! Overall, I'm much happier having upgraded to the Note 8 rather than sticking with Apple!

your not the only computer geek , IOS is more secure then android. but here are a few flaws from android. Google Play had been hosting apps containing two forms of malware (CallJam and DressCode) and A elevation of privilege vulnerability in the MediaTeknow . These flaws have since been patched however, there will be more as long as theirs lazy device makers out here . Plus Android os is too fragmented hence on why a lot of older phone's are running vulnerable software . Now IOS had a Security Vulnerability called LEAP(Low Energy Audio Protocol) another one is buffer overflow. I'm sure theirs more. Do u know about the Vulnerability called BlueBorne" ? That affects all devices that have Bluetooth Windows desktops, Android devices, older iPhones and iPads, and smart devices. Sorry for the essay, We can go on for days on this subject the fact of the matter is, No devices is 100% secure even the self proclaimed security king apple will tell you that

That Note8 is Gorgeous and I’m currently using the 7plus. Went to the Apple store today to get a up close look and feel for the 8plus and it hurts me to say that I was not impressed at all and I never like the look of the X. I absolutely love my 7plus but if Apple doesn’t get it together by upgrade time for me it’s back to Android. . Damn I do love the Apple eco system but they did not come through this time around. I have a 7 plus at the moment, and I’m seriously contemplating the Note 8, it seems to be ahead of the iPhone 8 for sure and I don’t feel the X has enough of a difference from the 8 plus to pull me towards it. The Note 8 is already doing it better in my opinion. And it kills me to say it but Apple has been lazy with both the 8, 8 plus and the X.

Sorry to say Brian after the launch reveal of the Iphone X the face ID wasn't so appealing. I've had the s8+ and the previous iphone comparison iphone is still much better when it comes to interface and texting, but not camera. I now have the iphone8 because I couldn't stay away from the interface of the texting.

Give it a go, it doesn't have to be a permanent change, you can always go back eventually. Apps arent as optimized and you only get two major updates but from the videos ive seen, the note 8 is probably smoothest iteration of touchwiz and you get loads of features and customisation plus better design (in my opinion). Can't you keep yr iphone 7 plus for making your vids?.

Back then I kept watching note 8 videos and now I have one and I honestly love it! They were forcing me to just buy the s9+ but I refused because I want the bigger screen I like how to curved edges are not really pronounced and the spen and I like the rectangle look, it looks bold not like the S series.. Even though the s9+ is good but I fell in love with the note 8.
