Hi, I tried most of the method but didn't work. Finally I found a similar method. Here are the step: 1. Turn off phone. 2. Plug in charger. 3. Immediately press power button and volume down together. 4. Keep pressing until the charging symbol flashing. 5. Then release power button, but keep pressing volume down button. 6. Finally, phone is charged and the percentage will appear. Hopefully everyone can solve this issue.

My note 9 when plugged into charger just displays the Samsung note 9 logo and stays there. Once unplugged it just shuts off. I've tried every button combination to get it to power on and nothing. It doesn't charge or recognize charger being plugged in either. Any ideas?

After replacing the charge port with a new one it worked for a minute but then went back to only being able to transfer data, any ideas?

@@mddell58 i see this problem a lot with my note 9. It happens when the phone is compleatly dead and charger is weak. Even cable matters. Sometimes heating solves the issue if it is wet

My wireless charging coil is dead, but i can't replace it, now my note 9 always warning low temperature i i can't charg it. How i can remove that charging coil ?

You have cutted the temperature sensor which is located in the wireless charging coil

I have the opposite problem, it ONLY charges with quick charge when plugged

@@akath143 i end up getting a note 10 plus but also find out that getting a very powerful charger like 25w or even the 45w seem to fast charge my note 9 now. Try that out and see if it works. Also some usb c cables are not rated for fast charge and they look the same as the one that do so make sure u have all the right stuff good luck.
