Places order for the Galaxy S20 FE yesterday and I can't wait to receive it. I am getting for free through T-Mobile for adding a line. I didn't really need another line but i will pay $10 per mont for an added line for 24 months vs. $29.00 per month for the phone if I got it without adding a new line. Plus I really can use the additional 50G of 4gLTE data per month to use as hot spot data for my laptop.

Where oh where did you purchase your A71 5G? Is it unlocked? Is it the US unlocked version? Because the US unlocked A71 5G has a Qualcomm 765G SoC, not the Exynos 980. And mine included a 25 watt fast charger. I'm mystified as to why so many KZbin videos made by US based presenters only mention the Exynos 980 and the lack of included 25 watt charger. I'm glad I didn't see this video before I purchased my phone. And the reason I personally chose the A71 5G over the S20 FE can be summed up in two words: headphone jack.

S20 FE does have some better internal specs than the A71 5G .... but you will find both have similar complaints (it's usually audio, macro camera, in screen finger print scanner) .... I wonder who will get the Android OS 11 / UI 3.0 update first? (and will this update correct those complaints?) These are both beautiful devices, I have only seen the A71 5G at Best Buy and Fry's, but I have not seen the S20 FE (it could come down to cost & being able to physically handle a device that sells it). Great video comparison, but for those thinking that Samsung is making way too many devices? The worst that could happen in North America is we are only given three choices (as a consumer? I'd like to have as many choices as possible, while Samsung can learn quickly what devices sell vs what devices don't sell and need to be dropped).

I have the 4g model of the A71. I originally bought it as a backup phone but I strongly considered using it over the FE (my primary phone) as my daily driver. It's better than the FE in certain areas like having a headphone jack and even the display seems slightly better on the A71 (I have 120 hz refresh rate turned off on my FE). The battery life also seems better on the A71, it uses up less ram, and it has a headphone jack. The deal breaker for me is the camera on both and I prefer the size of the FE (the A71 is impossible to use with one hand). The A71 also has dual speakers. The camera is great on the A71, but it's excellent on the FE so the FE is a better phone overall. If you're paying full price for both I would recommend the A71 4g model over the FE. If you're getting the FE on a discount, the FE is the better phone.

Retired my wore out LG Tribute Empire, went with the a71 5g through t-mobile and haven't looked back! Love everything about this device. The s20's features may be a little nicer, but couldn't really justify spending 200+ extra dollars for features that are a little better and no 3.5mm headphone jack.. coming from my old LG, this thing is primo 😆

Guys I used both of them. I started with s20 fe and I liked everything but two things. 1. Connection is worse than A71 5g .. most of the time I dmget disconnected, and I thought this was once off issue but even my replacement had same issue . 2. Battery for s20 fe is Li Ion. Its bound to have problems quicker than Li Polymer. Im a long term user, I hate changing phones so this is important to me. Now I'm using the A71 5g and I love it more than the S20 FE. Better display, better reception, lighter, arguably better design, similar camera to S20 FE (don't know why he said it much better on the S20 FE). Seriously guys its up to you but go for A71 5g

People will swear they can feel and tell the difference,after a week of using it you wouldn't even know. Just get the A71 regular it's $350 and well worth the price and then if you need a great cam just get a pixel 4a $700 well spent

Couldn't get myself into buying a/any phone worth AU800 and above, so when A71 5G was on a limited deal for AU699 I bought one straight away. Love the fast charging and it's good they kept the headphone jack, cause I own a couple of really good IEMs'. The stock IEM that came with wasn't shabby at all. Camera functions and features were also up there. Noice.
