Just got the S20 FE from At&t. Came from the Pixel 3, and I'm loving it. Also doesn't hurt that At&t took my Pixel 3 as a straight up trade. So I only really paid $300 for a $700 phone.

I have a S20. I don't really use the 120hz because the battery drains far too fast with that and optimized power mode. I have considered getting a s20 FE for the bigger battery. Would the tradeoff in screen resolution be worth the gain in battery? Honestly rather disappointed in the 20 battery, 3hrs 50 minutes SoT is the most i can eek out of my s20 in optimized power mode.

Still not worth the retail price here in the uk (my opinion) unless you can find a good trade in deal I guess. America seem to be getting all the deals with the s20 fe right now especially since retailers are already discounting it.

It has 865 snapdragon, ip68,wireless charging,120 refresh rate, oled display, cameras as good as the s20 plus, and 3 years of software updates. This device is better than the Note 20. Even with the plastic back, fhd instead of qhd, and 6g of ram, the S20 fe could never be a budget device!

yeah Samsung is discontinuing the s20 line apart from the far more inferior FE i had no option to go with the FE because I'm not paying over the odds for the s21 its terrible horrible anti-consumer practice by Samsung trying to force consumers who are ready to upgrade to buy the new s21 which is overpriced and practically the same as the s20

It has it. It has everything as the other s20's features except 8k and qhd. Oh I forgot according to most reviews it's not premium because it a matte plastic back🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.

@@allenthomas914 well i upradged to f2 pro 256gb 8gb ram, from 64gb s9+ and see the difference by a lot but in your case upradging for one generation sounds needless, wait for another generation in this gen two variation of snapdragon comes out sd875 and sd888, i recommend continue putting on your money and get a phone with sd888

Ain't nothing budget about $700. That's rent in some places. You must be rich. The only difference between those phones is the builds, they have the same processor and features. There's nothing lite about the s20 fe 5g it does everything the s20 does minus qhd and 8k.

The regular note 20 basically looks like this also. Samsung looks like they're going to put out phones that are slightly above the A line and slightly below their flagship line. I'm using it now coming from an s8+ and to be honest the display is a downgrade from the s8+, but it's an upgrade in every other aspect. It's basically a flagship with a few corners cut. In this case, the main corner that they decided to cut is the display. That was a good call considering Samsung displays are way ahead of the competition's displays most of the time. I also have a LG G8 and the display is pretty much equal to that despite it not being QHD. To sum it up, it's not the same Samsung display that we're used to seeing on Samsung's flagship phones, but it's on par with the rest of the competition. I don't have the specs of the A line listed in front of me, but my guess is that they cut corners even more with the A71. I think that's basically what Samsung is trying to do. They want to create a "perfect phone" and then they want to keep taking features away from that phone to get it at the desired price point that they want.
