I am an artist and i always thought i'd get a Note because it would allow me to draw in times and places where using a tablet or sketchbook wasn't feasible, but after trying to draw with it once and i was a Hard Pass. And now that Samsung is going to update the firmware to allow S20s to use QHD and 120hz refresh and it seems to me that the S20+ with its full 5G suite suddenly becomes the most attractive option.

Wireless power share is great with the Galaxy buds I already use, and I was torn what tablet to get to fit between a phone and my Surface Pro 6..... the 10+ is big enough for the occasional video and I can now skip replacing my broken Fire Tablet and my aging Kindle paperwhite too. This device is big enough to read and the occasional binge watching. Just my 2c. I was looking at the Note 10 and then decided that the little extra is worth to pay for a plus.
@The_Graze4 жыл бұрын
This is dumb, all those elements are as a whole, the s20 is better in every way, justifying by saying "yeah but the average user won't notice the difference between 60 and 120hz" is wrong and useless, if the average user doesn't need those things then he don't need to buy a 700 or 900 dollar phone in the first place. That same way of thinking can be applied to push someone to buy a 3-4 years old phone, like "yeah that huge display is nice, but do you really need one that big", let's all buy a 3310 and we'll all be fine. And btw, the note pen isn't as useful as you're trying to sell it, you could use the same argument for the camera of the s20 and say "well if you like to take pictures with your phone then it might offer something better with the improved sensor,..." But you didn't. It's like you're making an ad for the note 10 but it makes no sense since it's from the same compagny

Since I would barely use the s-pen (and let me preface I'm an iphone user so i can't consider either of these), I would go with the S20 I think. As you mention I would like the bigger display of the note, and the aspect ratio is so much better (I like the horizontal area that is lost with the narrow aspect ratio of the s20). However, for me personally using the ipad pro on a daily basis and then going to all 60hz screens (iphone, imac), the 120hz makes a big difference. I'm mostly scrolling content on my phone and being able to read while scrolling slowly makes a difference. And I also use tmobile in the US. So although it may be 20 percent better than LTE with the sub 6 5g, 20 percent better is still important for me, especially living in the northeast where LTE coverage (at least in my area in Connecticut) is not giving me fantastic speed....

Really?! Even if you play 1440p videos on KZbin vs 1080p the battery drainage will still be the same?

I can buy the note 10 for around $500 usd, but I was just wondering if I should wait until the value of the s20 depreciates so I can get the s20 instead? These phones tend to lose almost half their value after a couple months

Is it worth to upgrade from S7 Edge to S20? Tbh my S7 Edge is still doing okay. No lags or whatsoever but the battery life is decrease even faster. I have to charge it 2-3 times a day.
@NachoT14 жыл бұрын
S7 to s8 is a huge difference S9 is an improved version dual speakers and a few changes S10 its a small jump but not good enough to jump from s8 S20 has more ram better cpu better camera If you have the money go for it. The f diference is huge If you want to save some cash go for s10 its still a very good device and its not cheap neither but should give a good experience. What irritates mes about s20 is the reasons they give you to buy it are pure marketing 5g no one has it yet, x100 zoom its not usable horrible zoom if you do more than x10 (only x4is real more than that is digital) Samsung stops android updates after 2 years No jack, and the software is not bad but could do much more. For last, i would love to see desktop mode in Chrome as default mode in such a big phone And maybe samsung dex on the phone. In such a expensive device we should be able to do everything in thr phone without need of computers.

@adamhani50784 жыл бұрын
I have both... the s20 is snappy and fast, display is better, but the note 10 feels amazing in the hand, the design gives you inspiration while the s20 is lack luster, its a really tough decision, if only the note 10 has the better display and features it would be the most perfect phone, also like to add the note 10 is slightly wider which gives a nice feel and better viewing experience, the s20 feels much narrower

@jtoeicer47594 жыл бұрын
You are correct. On a video from Phonebuff, there was completely no difference between FHD+ and QHD in terms of battery life.
@Kareem-cx4fi4 жыл бұрын
@@jtoeicer4759 only if the panel is a QHD panel there isn't much difference by lowering the resolution. But if you are comparing a 1080p panel to a QHD panel, then there is a noticeable difference of at least 20%

Hi, how about the camera of note 10 on third party apps like facebook, whatsapp and snapchat? Is it as same as the camera app? Because im disappointed in s20, the camera on third party apps is not good. Waiting for you answer so I could decide if i will buy note 10. Thank you!!

Get the N10+ I get almost 10hrs SOT and it does everything fast. 12gb of ram and 256gb storage. I have a 256gb sd card in it unused basically. Now I will say, I'm not that impressed with the selfie camera of the N10+ but the rear camera is pretty good. I have a 120hz screen on an ipad pro and love it but I wouldn't sacrifice battery life on a phone for 120hz. Since it's way more essential for something that's in your pocket and out and about all day.

I just got the Note 10 plus 5g for $579 in like new condition on eBay. I’m happy with that for a while. I prefer the 6.8 screen on the note and the Spen than the S20. Now the Ultra that’s something else but 128gb it’s not enough memory and the 512gb it’s too expensive. Why release the Note 10 plus with 256gb and the S20 Ultra with 128gb? Makes no sense Samsung

ya, i can get the s20 4g for less than the note or s10+. So it's a no brainer i'm going for the s20 4g. Sure, i don't have 5G on this s20 but I just don't care for that (yet) and otherwise it's identical apart from 8Gb ram which is plenty anyway. I do personally think both the note and s10+ look better but i think going with the better and more modern device makes more sense if price is lower.
@chrishumphries87984 жыл бұрын
The s20 should have the option to run at 2k at 120hrz, and just warn you that it will drain the battery, but at least give you that option. $1400 on a phone you should have full access. They’re going to sell a load of S20’s and then have the 2k at 120hrz on the Note 20 and people will trade in their s20’s for it. Smart move. Big $$$.
@filipmagath87754 жыл бұрын
Please drop already that nonsens about 1440p suck out baterry A LOT faster than 1080p. There are many tests between those res. with results when both devices with 1080p and 1440p drown out the battery at almost the same time, litteraly second or 2.
@MatthewMoniz4 жыл бұрын
If that’s the case then why do a lot of high end phones still have a 1080p display
