After watching this and reading other articles, I just can't see a true reason to upgrade to the S20 from the S10 this year. I love my S10. I like having the 16MP ultra wide sensor for amazing outdoor shots. I like having the headphone jack. Don't really care about the increased screen refresh rate for now. I would probably end up turning that off to save battery life anyway. I haven't seen anything say that 5G would make my life better either, so...I'll stick with what I got even though the trade-in deals are insane.

The s20 still has an ultra wide sensor that takes just as good shots and it has a way better 64mp 8k camera as well. 120 hz plus a 240hz touch sensitivity is a massive upgrade over the s10. You will notice it immediately if you use it in person. Plus the 5g and wifi 6 for futureproofing etc. But yeah if you have an s10 just wait another year for the s21 or whatever it's called lol

I have a standard s10 and I think it's the perfect phone, it's big, but not too big. And it has the coolest screen out there that's awesome for movies. I hope to keep this phone for years before I upgrade again. The s20 is only worth it if you use your phone for gaming or photography, I use mine for media and video which look great on this phone. You have to switch to hd instead of 4k for 120hz on the s20 which sounds useless cause I want my movies crisp and sharp and most movies play at 48 fps and 120 isnt helpful

The base S20 without 5G will only have 8 GB of RAM, the S20 Ultra with 512 GB of storage will have 16 GB of RAM, and all other models in the S20 series will have 12 GB of RAM.

I would say if you have a s10 or s10e the upgrade is somewhat worth it to the ultra but if you have a s10+ I don't think the upgrade is worth it

Super phones, ah probably. I'm keeping my S10+. To me, these are incremental upgrades. My S10+ has had no problems whatsoever so why get rid of it? Sure the cameras are improved, the 120hz display and bigger 🔋 are very nice. I just can't get rid of something I enjoy very much!

Sure the 120hz display is great & 12gigs of 🐏 but satisfied with 8gigs. Is there that much of a difference? With tax the Ultra is a 15oo.oo, that's a whole lot of banana's, 😬!

No doubt the S20 series consists of the most advanced flagships yet; however, I'll be keeping my S10+ until next year when there will be even more refined 5G functionality, and far more extensive 5G availability to take advantage of it.

I dont understand why you HAVE to have 5G on these phones if it's not bring fully supported just yet. Whenever I had the option of either 4G or 5G or buying a tablet or laptop with 5G, I always disregarded it cause it was more expensive. Having something being forced on me, doesn't exactly scream "caring". I still plan on getting the s20 line, but for some weird reason, this is really bothering me more than I expected.

Tbh the camera features of the s20 series seems like a marketing gimmick. Also I got a ceramic white s10+, which is already really expensive and has a significantly higher build quality than any s20 phone. Pass.

I think s20 ultra should have had 5500 or even 6000mah battery, not to make 1440p 120hz a problem. Also, 10x optical zoom for better base for software to work upon. Then and only then would this price be justified for me, even with this very ugly look and size. On the other hand, Xiaomi 10 pro KILLED it this year. Beautiful phone in comparisson (specially blue one), with most important features as Samsung Ultra, twice as cheaper.

Oneplus 7 pro is 500 bucks base price now. I got it for 450. It's dope. No punch hole in the screen either and it's fast as hell, and the UI is better. I switched from the s8+ btw so I'm not a Samsung hater
