Bought it in silver (looks waaay better than overhyped black IMO, check it out in a store) & just loving it. Upgraded from S21+ and I didn’t thought this would be such a big upgrade (especially cameras, battery and display: brightness and Adaptive 120hz with 1440p). Also speakers have more base and connectivity is even faster! Overall I love it, it’s the best phone I have used so far (& I have used quite a few since like a decade, upgrading every yr)

I’d urge all reviewers to zoom into the photos of the devices they test. Zoomed out all phones take fine looking photos. But the real quality of the image processing is tested when we pixel peep. Compression artifacts, upscaling issues, over-sharpening can only be tested upon careful close examination. You’d be surprised how many people zoom into their photos after taking them.

An absolutely stunning device hands down. I myself got to the point that I had to try it because of such leaks that my mind gave me no other choice and, without a slight hesitation, it delivered and dominated right out of the box. From the ergonomics to the performance to the all around usability, Samsung finally did it. A MEMORABLE device. I won't switch. This device is my work horse and my play pen.

Great Review! I caught your first review of the S21 Ultra where you recommended that you not upgrade from the S20 Ultra. I have a S20 Ultra and decided at that time not to upgrade based on the camera improvements that weren't earth shattering. After seeing the improvements to the S21Ultra in many reviews, I have found that the 3X and 10X lens couples with the directors view will come in extremely handy to me. I changed my mind on the S21 Ultra. So the preorder price of $550 with the S20 Ultra trade in will be a good investment for me. When Samsung comes out with some new feature in the S22 Ultra, I'll probably skip that having learned my lesson with the S20 Ultra and its under performance. Thanks!

I just bought the s21 ultra. Great camera. Get it for the camera upgrade. I love the macro pictures. Most people takes close up and this phones deliver. Zooms camera is fun to use. However, really hate that it lacks a micro sd card. Went out in town and having anxiety about running out of space. Hate that I have to load my 1000 songs in the phone. Hate I have to constantly load my pictures and video into my computer hard drive. Can't load my movies because it takes too much space. With a sd card, I was allow to move it from one phone to another and still have my old pictures and movies and music without loading it back onto a phone. People who argue about not being a big deal, you guys will never understand. Having a sd card slot, gives conveniences and one less thing to worry about storage and accessibility without having to buy cloud service and reloading it to the phone.

Been using my S21 ultra (exynos) for around a week now and all I can say is this phone for me is PERFECT. The looks are stunning in person, the screen is the best I've ever seen, the speakers are loud and very clear, performance is amazing, cameras are phenomenal and the battery life is, well, ULTRA. Well worth the price tag and the galaxy buds pro and smart tag I got were a very nice touch too.

I wish they would just expand the camera hump to the full width of the phone so that it can sit flat (well, slightly propped up but that's a bonus) on the table. Being forced into adding a case to avoid it rocking sucks and having a slightly thicker phone at the top end wouldn't really make any difference. Hell, it might even leave enough extra volume to bring back the 3.5mm socket and the SD-card, or the finger-swipe sensor from the Note8, or maybe even a nice physical home button.

I think the crop factor in the video hurts the front facing video recording a little bit. Same concept as cropping the picture. You getting a 5 or 7 mp picture(not sure which one it is) that gives you less detail. Zooming out and using the whole 10mp binning mode produces the best picture. They should uncrop the front cam so much for video recording, it will up the quality for sure

I wanted the bigger screen and almost got the Note 20 Ultra, but this phone looked better overall and feels better in my hand with that silver side frame (Phantom Silver). The screen is gorgeous and 3 days of light use (browsing and KZbin) got me to 20% battery left! I will use it more, including for games, but that was impressive. Also agree, best looking Galaxy ever. No complaints in the first week.

I ordered my phone yesterday. I dont mind the last of an memory card(I use google to back up the important things). I had a note 9 and barely used the s pen. I have so many chargers that I haven't use so I don't need to buy one. The lack of a headphone Jack doesn't bother me either. I ordered my phone from Samsung's website(that he showed in this video), so I got earbuds for free😊! So I'm perfectly fine with it. However, I KNOW everyone have different situations/needs. 🤷🏾‍♀️

The base model is actually great. Despite it being cut down from the ultra model. But sadly some apps had been struggling to run properly with it at launch (as far that I can tell). It is disappointing about no headphone jack, even expandable micro SD card. But it has wireless charging, which that isn't something that you would hear from other phones or from older models (as far that I know). Another thing about the choice to fast charge or regular charge is a great idea and wished it was a thing before the quick charge had been invented.

I received mine the other day as well as all the Samsung goodies like free Buds Pro, Tag & case with Pen. Gotta say after using this phone I prefer it more than my Note 20 Ultra. Although, I will miss the expandable storage.

Awesome best phone even in 23. Especially for the price now. Anywhere from 300 to 500 dollars less. Features and quality and design all equil or surpasses the s23. It's a no brainer. I am staying with the s21 ultra not upgrading to the 23

My note 20 ultra broke and Samsung offered me the s21 Ultra, and it IS great. Improvements nearly across the board for me. HOWEVER, there are a few things I don't like/miss about my Note 20 Ultra. I do not like the rounded screen corners on the S. I don't mind the actual device being rounded in fact, I think that's nice but they can make it rounded with a squared off screen. I think that would be an inprovement. Also, I may be the odd-man out here but I do not like the reduction in size, however small. Even though specs say it is only 1/10th/inch smaller than the Note it's so noticeable. I will give it credit though, the flatter screen with less infinity curve is awesome. I'd prefer no curve to be honest and the fact that the Note with an s-pen had a bigger curve is downright ridiculous. At the end of the day, my gripes are small and ones I can definitely get use to. The combination of rounded corners and smaller screen are, to me, an adjustment. However, it is an AWESOME phone and top-of-the-line as far as I'm concerned

My S21 Ultra has to arrive today. Can’t wait to test those cameras. Unfortunately, mine is Exynos version, because I live in Europe. Hate that Samsung does that. Galaxy Pro and smart tag will arrive in couple of weeks. But here in France we get AKG headphones in the box, just like iPhone 12 did(required by French law).

I like a lot of what Samsung did with this phone, but the removal of the SD card slot really hurts. I have a 1TB in my Note 10+ and absolutely love the amount of video, photos, music, and apps I can store without a worry in the world about storage. Coming from an Apple phone a few years ago and constantly making difficult decisions on what to delete made the Note 10+ an amazing switch for me. Really sad seeing Samsung following Apple's lead and not sure I would buy another phone from them in the future.

4k 60p from this phone is very, very good. Rivals iPhone. However, 1080 60p suffers from the ‘Samsung Stutter’, where the video seems to chop at times, and drop a frame here or there. Samsung, please fix this. The cameras also drain the battery quite a bit. Other than these issues, it’s a wonderful phone that is a joy to use!

Yup deal killer....8k video takes too much space for no video cards think you only get about 2 hrs 45 mins if you have nothing else in storage

Yep, I'm out. Samsung did this before with the Galaxy 6 or 7 and the public outcry forced them to put it back.
