My s21 Ultra fell on its screen, the screen did not crack however it seems as if a part of a ribbon was damaged and the screen flickers bright green. Do i need to replace the entire screen or just the ribbon?

Probably the digitizer thats under the screen but if you're going to open it, get a ribbon anyways.

Really curious to know if fingerprint still works. I saw a vid before that fingerprint doesn't work after screen replacement even if the screen comes from another phone.

Question: Do you take off the plastic cover that comes on the new replacement screen? Or leave it on? I just got my screen replaced for S21 Ultra, and it has the same thing. Not sure if I should leave it on or take it off. It doesn't bother me. But you can definitely feel they plastic cover, because they cut a small hole where the front camera is. Appreciate your response!

It doesn't matter how advanced or how strong Samsung claim their phone screens are.....the screen will crack when the phone falls. My S21 ultra slipped off the couch and fell onto a cearal bowl....the screen cracked. My phone now flickers. Is dark and has yellow lines going across the screen. I now have an expensive repair bill. Mobile phones are and always will be fragile and will crack easily. Replacing a cracked screen is expansive.

If you flip the main/sub ribbon cable the wrong way can that cause damage to the phone?

Accidentally I inserted SIM ejector tool inside the S21 Ultra microphone hole. I also applied some force in an effort to push out the tray. Although, the phone is working OK so far. Did I break something inside? Microphone / Mesh / Water protection. Kindly clear my doubts.

@@sorsamoun5788 yes, its working. However, I just wanted to know the design details. I heard the sim ejector tool can't reach upto the microphone as it is perpendicular to the hole.
