I bought the adapter for my elderly neighbors so they could screen mirror from their newly purchased smart phone to their dumb TV. I could not get it to work. It worked with my iPhone 11 and Lightning to HDMI adapter without issue but I could not get their android phone to display on the TV. I wonder if there are some specific settings that need to be adjusted?

All this is great except when your phone company doesn't open your phone up allowing for mirroring I have a Samsung and when I try to do this it told me I had to contact my provider to do this
