Alot of case company really screwed up this time around. They have a chance to make so many amazing case like how Spigen cut out the camera section individually perfectly. Most company are lazy and went with the P-shape which totally screwed up the flush look. The only clean cases are the ones that wrap the camera individually. Samsung cases did exactly that and Spigen. Camera cut out should be perfectly flush and clean. All the company should have spend more time and did the circle cut out instead of P-Shape.

Thick cases can affect the camera that's why they don't do individual cutouts. But others are indeed lazy and won't see a penny from me

Agree with most of you that most 22 ultra cases are tired and lazy design... hopefully some more 3rd party designs come around to take advantage of the tear drop camera design and not the weak box or p shape cutout design... did get the ESR clear kickstand one with individual camera protectors to compensate my individual camera cutout design phobia until they come out with better designs... it is pre-order, had to get something... and Samsung's version of the ESR is weak... the individual camera cutouts are nice, but the kickstand is too dang thick and fat... hopefully someone comes out with a clear case that kills... cause I gotta show off that green.

I know its big and bulky but I went with the otterbox defender pro. I've had one on my s9+ since launch in 2018 and it kept my phone safe. I'm willing to trade off style for protection.

The thing about Spigen that really bothers me is when it comes to any Samsung Note series cases, the spen cut out are so low profile. If you drop your phone, with the spigen case on, that specific area would tend to get scuffed up because of the poor cut-out.

Is there any case which is thin and grippy? Just got a liquid silicone one but it feels like dry plastic, slippery like the phone without a case.

The Samsung silicone ones are the most grippy I've felt so far, add the strap and you probably won't be dropping it anytime soon!

For me the no for the Smart Clear view cover is the fact there is no Magnet on the cover. Because of that it as moving around. Decided to return it.

I've used Speck Presidio and Candyshell for years and love them. I've got a Presidio2 waiting for my Ultra to come in. The only thing I wish it had was either a P shaped opening or used the same camera openings like that Spigen. The speck has an open square for the cameras.

I just ordered the Spigen liquid crystal case because I love the look of the burgundy I will getting soon. Although I am starting to wish I get that neo hybrid. I had that on one of my super old LG phones way back in the day and I do remember them feeling great. They do have some colors now. I kind of like the red and gold one, but do also wish there were more colors

I have the spigen neo hybrid on my note 10+ that I'm typing this on. It is a really good case and I have very much liked it for most of the reasons that you mentioned, HOWEVER there is 1 thing that I feel needs to be clarified. The texture on the back of the case provides literally ZERO extra grip, it is much more slick/smooth than it looks. It is still an excellent case that is a very good compromise of protection without too much bulk, but don't see that zig-zag tread pattern and think it will help you hold the phone better. I was personally very disappointed by that since I have smaller hands (but love my massive smart phones, such a cruel curse to live with) and chose the neo-hybrid over other cases because the pictures of that texture lead me to believe it would help with added grip, but it doesn't. It took me some time to get used to. I would still recommend that case just with the caveat that if the main thing you're looking for is extra grip on the back of the phone, definitely look elsewhere.

Hi, do screen protectors work with these cases? I'm pretty scared of scratching my display so I'd like to get both a case and a screen protector but I'm wondering if the case will interfere with the screen protection. I'm looking mostly at the Gunmetal one and the official Samsung one with the strap cuz they seem to protect the cameras as well.

I've ordered the Samsung Clear View for my S22 Ultra but as you've highlighted there is no plastic on the cut out leaving it a bit exposed so I'm a bit nervous about that but we shall wait and see. Love the idea that you can fold it right back to take pictures though which is pretty cool.

I've been a fan of Spigen Neo Hybrid since the Galaxy Note 3 and still planning to buy one for my S22 Ultra because it always looks beautiful in Gunmetal. The worst thing about this case is the slippery frame. If you have buttery hands, don't buy this.

Yeah...I got the clear ESR, with kick stand and "camera protection lenses"... saw a drop test that destroyed the lenses, why I opted for this version... which is kinda contradicting of me as I don't drop my phones... which if I was worried the ESR doesn't provide much drop protection... it's mostly aesthetic...I guess for me it was more compensation for not having individual camera cutouts in the case itself... will definitely get another case later as more 3rd party offerings become available... not much was available at pre-order... but had to get something... can't wait, get mine on the 22nd..gl with yours.

Spigen Neo Hybrid is a pretty slim case but offers some decent protection too!
