In this camera test I will be checking selfie, portrait photography, video stabilisation, night mode, timelapse and slow mo and camera features.
I made a full camera test of Samsung galaxy s22 ultra and it was my favourite smartphone for making videos. However when I compared it to google pixel 6 pro I could not believe that stabilisation, night photography, colour accuracy was actually better on Google pixel 6 pro.
Not too mention Google pixel 6 pro is also cheaper which makes this device incredible value for money flagship

The difference is very obvious. The Google Pixel 6 Pro has enhanced colors, and is sharper/more clearer with its quality. The S22 Ultra is still a smart and wise choice.

My wife just had the pixel 7 Pro and its impressive but doesnt have portrait/cinematic on selfie mode and as a vlogger I think it looks a lot better in cinematic mode. I think the video was better for samsung, but photography was better on the pixel. Struggling what to pick.*

I have both phones, and as far as point and shoot with the main camera the Pixel is much better. The 4x optical zoom is also great. The S22 Ultra wins with the longer zoom range and the ultra wide.

GCAM on Galaxy phones or other compatible Android phones get you Pixel camera and processing without owning a Pixel phone. I can get the benefit of both worlds on a Galaxy phone but not the other way round

Not sure Pixel beat Galaxy in video. In photos however I've always liked Pixel skin tones for human subjects that's why I use GCAM app (Google Pixel camera port) on non-Pixel phones. Same camera app as Google Pixel phones.

I think you forgot to clean the lenses on S22 ultra because in some picture i saw some foggy images which is not to be seen in real life usage. Peeps if you can afford S22 ultra, without thinking twice Just go for it.

S22 ultra definitely has better videos, zoom and the front cameras. The pro-mode, pro-video, pro-raw etc is a cherry on top. *I prefer the normal photos on the Pixel 6 pro* although they could improve the edge detection on their portrait mode...the 3x portraits on S22 ultra are sweet af. Cheers

One thing I have heard no one mention about is over heating while recording video's I have the samsung s21 pro and it is terrible for overheating while recording especially in hot weather so is that no longer and issue has samsung sorted that out on this newer version?

I would be looking for a phone with at least 4x telephoto optical zoom as you need at least Focal length of 100 mm. There's few phones I would recommend note 20 ultra, , Pixel 6 pro, Vivo x70 pro plus, s21 ultra and of course a22 ultra which has 10x optical zoom which is insane 😁

In future we should put 3-4 selfie cameras in the screen on the top in a serial and in back at least 10 camera's. Also we can choose which picture we should save permanently. All phone brand cameras will be there. Problem solved 😂

My pixel 6 pro is terrible in zoom mode IE it turns blue skies a white/ grey, no definition to the clouds , over exposes images , images look fuzzy, poor focus . These photos are definitely taken in x4 as I set it in pro zoom so the camera doesn't take over and do a digital zoom crop
