I like the color combo of the black and red, although I wish it was more of a traditional red color. Atleast on video it looks like it's kind of a salmon red. The more I see these S23Us the more I want to get rid of my S22U and get one, but I'm not going to do that. I'll maybe upgrade next year with the S24U. On another note I just went back to OneUI for the first time in a couple of years after using Nova Launcher on all my phones for the last 6yrs. TBH OneUI isn't that bad, it's just as customizable as Nove Launcher if you have Good Lock and it's other modules installed.

It has been shown on numerous teardowns that if you poke the incorrect hole on the bottom, YOU Will DO NO DAMAGE. Same with the S22. And the Sim card holder hole is larger so a standard SIM card tool will not go into the smaller hole. Zach at Jerry Rig shows this in great detail.

I really did not like any colors as they took away my burgundy/purples, but @sakitech don't knock the silver ring around the cameras on the back. Try putting a case on and turning it over the rings glisten and catch the light. Very pretty if you like that kinda effect.

honestly the white/cream is a nicer look IMHO. Saki the first thing I install on my Samsungs is GoodLock - really like to see a video from you on that.

I didn't realize the edge was black and matte compared to the polished chrome of the regular versions. I think the polish is a little more bling but that bling only lasts so long after it's covered in scratches from normal use. Matte will hide the scratches better.

I ordered that exact same color last year for my S22 Ultra & returned for Graphite. That's not Red but more of Burnt Orange. Red is like iPhone version of Red. Candy Apple 🍎 Red is a true RED 🔴

Yeah, Samsung should have stuck with the red they used for the s21 plus. And I did the same exact thing last year. Definitely not red no matter what lighting condition you are in. For this reason, I went with the green s23 ultra.

The mic is not directly in-line with the hole. No damage will happen from sim eject tool.

The red S22 Ultra came with a matching red S-pen. The red S23 Ultra comes with a boring black S-pen. The cool old red pen works fine in the new phone, but its dimensions are slightly different. If trading in, keep your old red pen. It is now a collector's item.

Eh.. red is my favorite color but I don't like this shade of red. More like pastel orangey red. I bought the graphite 23 ultra And I'm in love. Only because the color near the camera rings are the same as the graphite and makes it pop around the camera rings. Plus the sides are like. Very dark grey, not exactly black and I'm in love with the graphite. I'll probably be buying it from now on for future Samsung devices.

Got mine yesterday. Coming from the note 20 ultra. Big difference? Not really. I notice it's a little faster. I have not had a chance to play with the camera yet.. I'm sure it's better... But this is where we are now... Phones aren't light years ahead.. It's good and bad.. Means they are all really good, but I miss the days of excitement with a new phone.

You will never damage the speakers by poking the wrong hole, teardowns for years have shown the speaker hole is L shaped so u cannot damage the speaker directly

Seems I’m the only one not having a good experience then so far. I got the red and friends are saying it’s pink which has annoyed me because I’m starting to see it the more I look at it. It looks way more red on the website and the red on the box with the other exclusive colours is much darker. I was also very surprised that turned on the lowest resolution and barely using the phone the battery drained by 32% in just over 2 hrs which I find shocking after all the stellar reviews on the battery performance. Has nobody noticed the fingerprint sensor indent on the other side of the glass when the screen is black but reflecting off a light? I’ve never seen that on a smart phone and find it quite annoying. It’s going to be sent back and I’m gutted because I thought I’d love it… 😔

It's a right angled mic, you can't damage the mic even if your sim ejector tool is all the way in

I'll check when the demo is released. I bet the camera is far better. But we don't even use our phones to the fullest. With a overclock and a root. I think I'll be okay for another 2 years or so. But I got the last Note. S23 ultra has no SD card expansion. Recycled parts. The screen isn't as large. I'm okay. Sony has a 4k 120hz screen and it's still 1440p. So until Samsung gets this corrected. I don't see a need to spend ANOTHER 1199 to 1299 for a slight upgrade.

Not necessarily true. If you're like me and you got an otterbox case. My case doesn't go around each individual camera lenses. It goes around the whole module. So if I placed my phone on the table (screen facing down), then one would be able to see the color of my phone.
