I intend to do the same. My Note 10 Plus lasted 4 years and is still working fine. I'm December 2023 I decided to NOT wait for the S24 Ultra and bought the S23 Ultra 512 GB ROM and I'm very very worth it. Chronic Galaxy Note user in the house.

Love my s23 ultra. It does get hot at times and i put it on a fan to cool it. Not often though. I don't see any reason to upgrade unless this 1 stops working or few more Galaxy phones come out. Had an S22 ultra, but it completely died. Only lasted a year and a half. Bought my S23 ultra 2 months before S24 came out. Sucks I had to but I needed a phone. All in all glad about my purchase. Thanks for the video. I was looking for what was upgraded on S24 out of curiosity.

I just got my s23 ultra on Friday and I can say its amazing. Im a power user with screen times ranging from 10hrs to 12hrs and it definitely keeps up with all i do on the phone and i only have to charge it once in the morning and lastly at 8. I was using a 22ultra before and ot wasn't keeping up at all with overheating alll over the place so yeah its definitely an upgrade, because even with my maddness i can't get this phone to overheat💀😭 (itll get warm but never hot). Screens amazing and no glitches in the ui, smoothe animations plus ai features (just to impress friends tbh they're quite useless ). But overall BUY THE PHONE IF YOU LOVE SAMSUNG AND HAVE THE WALLET. Ngl ill probably wait till the 27 ultra to upgrade 😂 or when the fold becomes a fully mature product.

I just hate that these phone manufacturers have decided to copy a lot of things from the iPhone and only listen to a few tech reviewers like mkbhd's preference for flat displays ... And jabby edges ... Leave the curved display and curved edges ... We don't want blisters... Bring back the headphone jack and micro SD card slot ...

There is a problem with teh 4G on this phone. If the signal on 4G is too low you lose your internet. It is made mainly for 5G. Got this phone and i am willing to change it cuz of that.

Only thing i hate about Galaxy ultras are the size , they should learn from what Google did in the latest flagship. I mean having the ultra features in a smaller screen for people like us who love small phones .

I can't understand these kinds of complaints. If you don't like big screens, don't buy one! I and many others love big screens. Firstly, I have big hands and secondly I like big screens because they help me in what I do. I hate small screens. I tried, it didn't work!

@hous2tim964 his complain is more from the fact that the features he wants can only be found on the Galaxy Ultras. None of the smaller sized Samsung devices offers the camera features of the ultras, none of them have the S Pen. If I want a smaller sized phone with these features I can't have it. At best I'll have to go for another brand, also forfeit the S Pen functionality. Hope that explains it better?

Battery life went from great 7-ish hours to underwhelming 4.5-ish hours... Not sure if that was due to bad updates or shitty battery quality

Honestly, both phones are really good for long term usage, it depends what you want, android or iOS, but the iPhone have issues, example the 15 series especially the pro models have overheating problems, which is awful because these devices are very expensive but well that's the bitten Apple 🍎 Same goes for the samsung: only the s20,s21 and s22 series have battery and overheating issues, only s23 series and s24 series are actually very good phones, but the 23 series are best buy because they are almost the same as s24 series. That's my honest opinion.

After owning this phone over a year, Galaxy S23 Ultra aged pretty badly especially the battery degradation. My phone gets noticably warms at times, and the battery takes a hit, it would go from 87% to 82% matter of minutes. While typing this comment, my phone is noticably warm and battery draining fast while just having one app open. I can't wait to ditch this phone for an iPhone this Fall.

I just got the s23 ultra yesterday from Amazon.. it's exactly the same as the a54 I have..same 4 year os updates..I think I'm gonna return it.. only thing that's diffrent is s23u has a pen and snapdragon..450 for the a54 and 1200 for the s23 ultra..so not worth it.. it's the same stuff..

@@rohiin Flagships are for those who can afford them and need them. Smartphones like the S Ultra and the Fold are above all work tools. If some people only need the capabilities of the A range that's cool but people like us prefer to use the S Ultra and the Fold because we need them. But to say that the A range can be compared to the S range, frankly! The S Ultra have an incredible number of sometimes hidden features. But you have to use them thoroughly to know that and when you see that you say to yourself that the price is justified.
