There are 4 methods of unlock in the S23. Face unlock, fingerprint, pin/password and Extend Unlock. Basically the phone will stay unlocked when you assign a location or device nearby. I assigned my earbuds, so I can unlock the phone just by swiping up. Great for wearing glasses/mask while wearing gloves.

this is the most annoying thing about iPhone. It always locks, and there's no way to adjust it unless you turn off locking completely. On the other hand, the screen does light up when you grab the phone and Face ID working in the background is not noticeable most of the time.

Smartphone for smartphone, the S23 is clearly a better smartphone, it's actually even a better smartphone than the standard iPhone 16 so the iPhone 13 🤷🏽‍♂️ The real problem of choosing between a Galaxy (Android) or an iPhone is iOS or Android and above all, where you live (North America, Japan...) where because of iMessage, FaceTime, and social pressure, using an iPhone is almost mandatory.

I had the S23 for over a year and you really missed to mention that the 120hz refresh rate drains the battery like crazy, even on adaptive mode because the display is not LTPO, so if you want the battery to last the full day, you need to have it at 60hz. For me the high refresh rate is a gimmick, even though it is noticeable is not such a big deal.

Don't agree. 60Hz vs 120Hz is really visible... If you didn't use it before, you don't miss it but after trying 120Hz is no way back.

I'm just checking this video to see if I should go back to Android, I've been using the iPhone 13 since the launch and it has been a great phone with no major complaints, I never bought an Apple watch or any of those so I'm not locked to the apple ecosystem, should I get the Samsung s23 or should I wait for a higher end Samsung phone?

@@esseker6320 well, different photographers and casual users have said different things. iPhone 13/Pro thrives on video, image processing speeds, shutter speed, and more realistic color profiles. The Samsung thrives on better dynamic range, customizability, pro mode, more vibrance and exposure. The gap isn't huge, but there's def an edge based on the reviews I watched and my experience. That's your opinion, we can agree to disagree. But the S22 and iPhone are no slouches at all lol

I also watched other videos comparing these phones and RAM management is better on Iphone too, except I would opt out for the 13 Pro which has 120hz, even faster processor, better battery life, superior cameras etc (If i was in the market for an iPhone which I'm not).

@RAGINGINSOMNIA-o8e come on. Just say you like the iPhone. The snapdragon 8 gen 2 is a powerful processor and is one of the best samsung has used in the flagship line. It performs so well, and games run so well. The iPhone 13 I would give it the camera score 💯

@@amon_ndemo I like both. I’m currently using an iPhone, and will probably get a a Samsung or OnePlus in the future. I'm waiting for the next models to come out so prices drop even more on the current ones. I also don't use base model Iphones. Only the Pro versions. I actually have a 3 year old iPhone 13 Pro that still gets over 8 hours of screen on time, has no lag, has incredible RAM management, therefore I know this model very well. It's been the most reliable and stable phone i ever owned. No factory data resets, clearing cache or resetting after 3 years. They have their annoyances, but you'd be surprised how well they hold up over time.
