I just wanted to add that the 200mp isn't just bigger; it has a much more natural processing. Even if you downscale them, the 200mp photos look much much much better than the default ones.

A lot of people are saying the camera is not up to par, looking at some of yours, I think my Pixel 8 Pro does a better job! S24 Ultra arriving Wednesday it'd better be worth it or will go back super fast! ❤

@@seanburns1972 if the adaptive pixel is on (in camera assistant), it will often look as bad, indeed. it will merge the 200mp photos with 12mp frames to capture more light. As soon as it starts doing that, the result is awful. But disable it, and you won't have 12mp oversharpened frames messing with it. At night, obviously, it will only capture the brightest parts, but it's still much better than having a fake 200mp.

@@Lynn-zw7dr I think that Samsung would benefit a lot from Google in the camera department. Samsung won't be able to keep its processing unchanged for much longer anyway. They really have to do change it, because tweaking it every year isn't enough.

Samsung's S Series of phones are beast! I've never learned everything my Note 10+ had to offer or my S22 Ultra here in 2024! These phones are packed with so many features. I had to pre-order my 512g Black 24 Ultra in the States since I got the $800 check or credit from my carrier for my mint 512g S22 Ultra. I've been waiting on that flat display. I'll never learn all the features it has to offer when it comes in a couple of weeks. I rarely use the cameras besides point & shoot sometimes.

@@robmulally unfortunately the shutter speed is still slow after making all of the tweaks to making it faster in the camera settings and in the camera assistant app. My Pixel 8 Pro captures pictures of my moving kids 99% of the time. I literally prefer everything else on my S23 Ultra.

At first it seems to me that the HDR is bad. Some photos have extremely dark shadows. On the other hand, the bright areas are excellent.

For the 8K video footage example? Just showing an example for exporting 8K footage into a 4K video. Using the 8K gives you a lot of zoom to zoom in without losing quality if exporting it at 4K quality. So if you're editing on a 4K timeline like I was, 8K fills the entire screen when shown at 50% its size. Hope that makes sense!

What happens when you do buy the Samsung after 2 weeks you will realize these features it has are worse on android or you don’t really use them. Also no more iMessage, no more airdrop, no more small things that iPhone does great are now gone. You will realize all the small details that android lacks. Yes I’ll admit their is only one thing android does better and that’s password auto fill in apps and browser other then that it does nothing else better. I prefer iPhone photos, videos, I like the apps their a lot better optimized on iPhone that’s the first thing you realize when you buy the Samsung only the native apps are good but 3rd party apps aren’t good they are decent or really bad because it’s not optimized at all. You see iPhone apps are optimized many times over but on android they will optimize it to s24 ultra once or twice and work on other phones to optimize and new features come out causing issues and takes a long time to fix on android.

I had one of the original Notes. Unfortunately, after my experience with the Samsung Ultra S23, I am not interested in buying their products. It is not just that the phone failed to turn on within a few months, it is how they treat their customers when there is a problem with their product. I was unable to reach anyone, there website cycles back to non-functioning links on the Canadian site. Now the camera is not working and I have troubleshooted all I can do including a full reset. Hours in dealing with all these problems. And being without a phone again, for weeks? This should be a refund/replace situation. Where else can you pay almost $2000 for a product and there is as little responsiveness as this??

Sorry for any confusion here, I explain the telephoto update in more detail later in the video though. Should have listed it differently of course. Technically 5x but still claiming 10x optical quality in their specs, with a short disclaimer later on. As its cropping in on such a large resolution - before losing detail beyond 10x I believe!

As much as I don’t like Apple hype and eco system and work on videos on my PC I’d still go with an iPhone for shooting videos. This overly agressive sharpness and saturation on each and every Samsung model just looks “plasticky”. Iphone footage looks more like a film and Samsung footage looks like, well…a video.

I don't care who has the best camera. Every flagship smartphone takes super pictures and video's. 97% of all smartphone users don't even see the differences. I'm a SMARTPHONE user so I want the best of : usablility and productivity options, gaming- and multi-media experience, personalization options and innovation. I want DEX, KNOX, S-PEN, call recording, multi-tasking, multi-window, fingerprint scanner, call recording, integration with windows, the biggest eco-system (Samsung SmartThings), fast charging, fast wireless charging, screen and I want AI. On all these aspects the S24 Ultra is destroying the iphone 15 PM big time. So why keep people buying these antiquated, restricted and very very limited iphones?

As I mention its 5x optically, but producing 10x before losing any real detail - due to the larger resolution. This is why the specs still mention 10x as optical quality*, essentially cropping in on such a large resolution you aren't really losing detail until you go beyond that, this in my understanding anyway!

terrible, the design samsung had untill S21 is gone((( S23 looks way better then 24 cuz it has edges. Bring BACK THE EDGED SCREEN.
