there is no different screen display spesification about s22u and s24u. one thing different is maximum brightness between 1750 nits and 2600 nits

I use the S22U at 4k 60FPS for all my fun fair uploads and have watched many S23U and S24U vlogger vids on fun fairs and none of us see any advantage, especially as the S24U has only a 5x zoom, same as the Oneplus 7 Pro which is far cheaper used. I paid £410 from CEX for a grade C S22U, a few deep scratches on the screen but the camera lenses are perfect as you can see in my videos. £900 for a grade C S24U for a phone that has slightly better night video.

i did not know the battery issue was common for everyone until i was reading comments...i also struggle with my S22 ultra battery having to carry power bank or constantly having to plug it into my car when driving because it dies too fast, second issue i was having when i am outside and it's sunny i can not see anything on my screen because of how reflective it is. i got S24 ultra as a gift from company was thinking of selling but might keep it because of the sole reason of battery and screen

Im not sure why,my s22 ultra doesnt have that much of an issue with its battery life it lasts long enough for me.Maybe its because im using it on about 30% brightness when in doors or in shade

Comparing the cameras, I'm sticking with my S22 Ultra. First, I prefer the 10x zoom over the S24 Ultra's 5x. Secondly, after downloading and tweaking Samsung's Camera Assistant, I'm getting very fine results: that includes turning down the over-sharpening so prevalent in almost all smartphone cameras, including Samsung's. (For that reason, I tried and rejected Expert Raw.)

That's the use of a phone to pack all into a carryable device i can agree that we shouldn't spend that much on a phone but my s23u is so versatile I can use dex if I want to work. I can add controllers if I want to play. I can take a photo and video decently I don't need a dslr I'm not a professional.

An unlocked s22U is less than $500 including tax and shipping. You cannot get a good camera body + lens + PlayStation + controller + monitor + iPad + Apple pencil for that price. You could make a fair argument against buying a new device, though.
