The s24 ultra had its new technology that prevents light refraction by 75% better than the s23 ultra, by putting this tempered glass I suppose that all that development is no longer useful Because the light will still reflect on the tempered glass.

So what? You want protection from falling/scratches or want anti reflective display it's all upto you money is yours choice is yours. I would prefer a screen protector rathar than anti reflective coating.

@@chrisc1760 It is recommended to have a screen protector for s24 ultra, the layer of anti light reflection is called AR layer, it may fall off if you do not have any screen protector on it.

You showed everything except the most important step! When you tear off the protection from the glass. Does it go front or back!? I know the sticker says Back. But is it the back or front!? I wasted another glue and glass because your instructions are horrible! As other commenter's have stated. This is too complicated.

ohh Soo Which side goes against the s24s Screen? other years was easy to tell cause of the curve

Thanks for this - done it a few times on previous devices about 3 times on the S22 Ultra whereby the first went wrong as I rushed it and did not even put the side pads on! No idea how the phone continued to work to this very day! Successful install again - main difference I found was the bottom pad that did not exist previously - something I almost missed out thinking the rest were all spares. Also the rubber weight was a chunk of plastic the last time. The clipping into the jig was a bit more difficult to the point I thought I'd mark the phone but all good. Very very clean install overall The one thing I did have to do previously is to hold down the fingerprint sensor area and do another UV shot at it - I didn't this time. Hopefully I don't regret it! As for the anti-reflection... I suppose the question is...protection over reflection? Most will have always lived with reflectiveness so if this removes that layer, you won't see the difference. What I did was not even switch the phone on to see the "function" without the protector installed- that way, I am none the wiser :- )

This was installed incorrect. The rubber weight is supposed to be put on after the glue spreads. DO NOT FOLLOW THIS!!!

I've always used EGV 3pk cheap TPU Screen Protectors on my S22 Ultra & they've been so easy to install, no glue, etc. Just line up with the included tool & peel. Perfect every time. Why is there a need for Glue on this Flat Display? I even dropped my S22 Ultra on rocks from chest high, display side down & all I seen was shatter! I freaked out but when I peeled the TPU Screen Protector back, it took all the damage! Not a single micro scratch to date on my phone. Can't wait for my S24 Ultra. My Carrier gave me $800 for my 22 Ultra & a few perks, so I had to grab the 512g Black S24 Ultra here in SE Texas 🤟

The glue gives a better ultrasonic fingerprint read. That is the problem with all film/glass based protectors. They don't work reliably with the reader. The Whitestone is as good as you can get for that. If fingerprint is unwanted, then I agree, go with inexpensive glass and replace them every so often.

I had it for the S23 Ultra. It was great. Dropped the phone several times where I feared it shattered because of it, but the screen protector was alright.

Whitestone has one without the liquid adhesive. I don't see why you need liquid glue with a flat screen.

to hold it on extremely tight, which suprisingly helps reduce chance of shattering @@G.G.001

problem ive had is everytime, every generation i do a glass screen protector (usually whitestone dome) the fingerprint reader works half the time. this has been happening on every galaxy note since they released them.

I been using the white stone dome glass since the 22 ultra and have never had the problem of the finger print sensor not working.

I haven't had a problem ever as well. Try pressing down a bit in the fingerprint area. Before completely sealing

Way too complicated for a screen protector... Scary too that it's glued on... I prefer a simple stick on that can be removed & replaced if it ever scratches..

The screen is flat, there is no need to go through this kind of TG install. Save your self the hassle and money.

The device in this video is S23U, not S24U, so its inaccurate. Also, yes, we don't need UV SPs for flat screens.

Not so sure - The S22 did not have a bottom absorbtion pad and i don't think the S23 did either. But this one does. Also it looks much flatter here than previous models. I've just applied mine to the s24 Ultra. As for UV SPs, agreed for flat screen comment but not so much for the fact I believe they are better for fingerprint sensors when on/in-screen.
