Even the s23u and s24u, can do pc emulation, games like Red Dead Redemption 2, Doom 2016, Resident Evil 7, God of War 2018, so no surprises here 😅, we just want NATIVE triple A gaming, the only thing the elite will bring to the table is better fps than the older processor, all we need is some native optimized ports to take advantage of the chipsets

Difference is 8 Elite has native linux support & even with emulation it managed 160FPS in Rdr1. Hopefully we get actual AAA games coming for 8 Elite natively 👍

@XEETECHCARE i get that, but Linux support isn't the same as a native port, even games like rdr1 runs above 100fps on the Snapdragon 8Gen3, we need something like Metal or FSR/DLSS equivalent in a native port, and sustainable performance locked 60fps for example, even Re7 at 720p low graphics can get above 60fps but as it heats up there are drops here and there

@XEETECHCARE but yeah i hope so, and hope Samsung doesn't pull an apple move like the 14 pro lineup not being able to play triple AAA titles 😅, because the s24u and s23u with 8Gen3 and 8Gen2 are pretty capable at running those games

I know that smartphones will always evolve every year, but I think there will be a significant leap with the S25 Ultra, so I think I will repair the damage to my old cell phone and hold on for another year until Blackfriday 2025, I am an investor and I know that the long term always wins over the short haha

@capadon77 No, we are talking about the Snap Dragon elite 4. It beat both the CPU as well as the GPU. It was also tested on this other device. i forgot its name, currently the Snap dragon elite 4 is the highest performance chip, lets wait for the A20 pro chip and see how it holds

It'll come down to smartphone optimisation from manufacturer to manufacture e.g Xiaomi 15 ran 3.1 million on Antutu and the GT7 only got 2.7 and the OnePlus 13 as well,the Realme will probably become better with an update.

Why do you guys don't talk about the cameras. It's gonna use the same 200mp main camera sensor as s23 ultra and same 3x sensor as s21 ultra. Vivo, Oppo, Xiaomi, even apple is using better camera sensors.
