I'm an iPhone user, and an avid one. But lately Samsung has been stepping up their game in a way that would take Apple years to do so. Yes Samsung is ripping the hell out of Apple's products for years, but seriously guys, who fucking cares? Apple steals and everyone steals. At least Sam listens to people's complains and addresses them (e.g. microSD and Battery life). That was the long version of me saying: I'm done with you Apple.

+Valentin Burger Just because you don't like Apple doesn't mean you have to create lies about them. I have an iPhone 6s Plus and it's amazing at all three supposed downfalls that you just mentioned. The battery life is insanely good, especially with standby; the display looks amazing even though it's only 1080p (it looks like it's printed on); and the camera is also fantastic. Maybe try to minimize your criticisms if you've never used one. And no, I'm not an Apple fanboy. I've had Android devices all my life, including over 10 Nexuses, and have an S7 edge on order.

+Pruthvi Sujeeth Touchwiz isn't the problem, it's the crap they tie to touchwiz to add unnecessary bloat to the device and that secretly take up ram. Such as multi-window, edge stripe, and what not. I just wished Samsung would keep the apps that are downloadable via the Play Store or the Galaxy App Store there so they'd get installed in the download section of the root system to be able to be deleted if not needed anymore.

In low light you just need to adjust the white balance which shouldn´t come as a surprise. I have done that on my S 7 Edge and i don´t have yello tinted pictures because of that. I do however see the oversharpening when using auto and not the pro mode because it gives you full control over the camera like a DSLR camera which is a big thing for me as a hobby photographer. Low light pictures i would say this phone is doing an amazing job i took a shot at night with a few streetlights in the distance it turned out very pretty and even in the darker areas it would have plenty of detail. amazing camera that is just killing every phone on the market.

Touchwhiz is ugly? It is not as cool as stock android, but calling it ugly is far fetched. You guys should learn the meaning of the word ugly.

Besides copying ios . Touchwiz is ugly cause icons are overly rounded making it UGLY. Like it or Not Agree or Disagree. Its too ugly to put on a phone. The icons are more of cartoons fit for children books rather than be a Smartphone Ui FYI there are many good themes. I know you can change wallpaper but The background is dark and makes it unjust for such quality display to have so crappy wallpaper.

dexternepo S7 is a great phone. People will buy it despite the horrible TouchWiz Touchwiz is ugly but it provides some functionality and its considerably less resource hogging than other versions of touchwiz. People will buy it because PEOPLE KNOW LAUNCHERS AND TOUCHWIZ THEMES CAN FIX THAT. Why would i hate samsung ??? Also if you're telling me that TouchWiz is not ugly then You need to know more about Ui and check playstore themes/iconpacks check ios 8/9 and this side by side and if there was a vote many people would go with ios 8/9 The icons need to be clean and suitable How many youtube commenters have labelled it Ugly a million times ???? You dont get it

***** LG G3/G4 are different and better than touchwiz. Htc's Sense is awesome. I dont need a UI that serves to disgust rather than changing our perspections about UI. Touchwiz-esque designs are more suitable for Huawei/Alcatel/Apple smartphones. Or lets just say for mid tier samsung phone. This is a FLAGSHIP PHONE. This means it gets more shit,hype,features and Popularity most importantly than any other Samsung phone That essentialy boils down to :- Flagship phones should appeal to their "going to be " Owners as well as makin things easier. You see TouchWiz provides additional tweaks,apps and customizations . but they're Not Enough Not Different . And they eat ram and battery quickly. As much as i'm sick and tired of trying to make you realise the simple truth I will DEFINETELY NOT BE TAKING THIS TYPICAL SHIT ANY FURTHER IF I DONT SEE A REASON TO CONVINCE YOU

Can anyone explain to me how a reduced picture resolution isn't that much of a difference from last year's? because this may be a deal breaker for me as the s6's camera is amazing and it wouldn't feel good to take a step back with the s7

Mega Pixel isn't the only thing for a better picture production aperture of the lens matters alot., now DSLR's have a 12-13mp camera but the pictures look far better than it does on any smartphone... the idea is the aperture or the surface area of the lens in a smartphone is too small to capture enough light resulting in awful lowlight performance! because the concentration of the pixels is denser but deconcentrating the matrix or lowering the mega pixel count increases the size of the individual pixels therefore capturing more light producing a more accurate image.

Great review. I'm an Apple person but man, for the first time I'm really impressed a Samsung phone and for the first time I would consider one when I upgrade sometime later this year. What would keep me from getting it is lack of timely software updates (especially crucial security ones) and the possible lag it could get that people complain about with Android phones.

+Dango Ruiz Don't worry about the 'lag'. It's a stupid stereotype with Androids, unless your getting a cheap android phone (S7 obviously isn't) there isn't going to be any lag. My dad has a S4 and it's wayy faster than my cheaper 250 AUD Moto G 2nd gen.

In Korea, GS7 has issues about picture qualities. (I don't know whether it's for all GS7)It distorts straight lines into wavy, curved lines. This problem can be easly noticed when you take a pictures of MS EXCEL. So if you have GS7 or GS7edge, give it a try.

Still have my Samsung S7. Battery lasts all day and runs and runs. Love my SD card, and with fast charging, great camera, and great display it still runs as good as the day I bought it!!
