Always on display does not really eat that much battery.. especially with the "block accidental touches" setting enabled.

In order to save extra battery life on my S6 in the advanced Wi-Fi settings I change the "Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep" setting to either "While Charging" or "Never". That way when the phone is sleeping for a while it turns off the Wi-Fi and reconnects once you start using your phone again

Some tips were like buy Lamborghini and keep it in the garage - Always. I agree with some of the comments below - Always On Display is designed to save energy by you not unlocking your full display just to see if you have new messages or to checkup the time. These are some very few pixels let and after all we are speaking of Amolet technology here :D plus the new ONE UI enables additional option to tap 3 times to see AOD which i hate :D

My max power savings mode is only 30 hours and im currently at 89% battery. Do you know why its showing my battery life so low? I have a S9+ and I have done the steps in the video. My brightness is at 25%. Even at mid battery savings makes the life of my battery at 10:42 minutes. Please help Saki

My first"ever" disagreement with Saki. The AOD. Over a 24 hr period, turning the phone's display on to check time and notifications, consumes the same amount juice, if not even more. It's a beautyfull feature. Use it before crapple invents it.

My problem is that i brought the galaxy s9 plus from India and i got a different processor besides snapdragon and exynos. I was concerned that this different processor may not give me much better battery life and as in the video in battery maintenance his phone shows estimated battery life a lot more and my phone shows very less at same battery percentage. Are you sure that high screen resolution is that much a drain? The screen wont save anything just because it interpolates the image! GPU or CPU might take a hit but surely not that much.

Great video, bud why buy hi performance phone if you must disable all the good stuff to get true the day? I switched from iphone plus and i m very disappointed in battery performance. Samsung galaxy s9 plus, charging time 1 hour and 10 minutes from 5% to 100% full battery, phone off. Middle battery save mode on. Low brightness screen. 20 hours battery life, 3 1/2 hours screen time. Is not much what i get. If i use intense the phone, it will get drained very fast. No wonder samsung included fast charger😂. For so big battery, this is trash. My old iphone 6 plus whit bad battery is better than the new 9 plus.
