@@Kirill0 actually i just reassembled the phone and there are important things you'd need to watch out for that wasn't as important during disassembly. it would save a decent amount of time and you'd have to watch out for the small component inside the simcard push hole. you could easily lose that if you didn't know you had to be wary of it. there certainly is value to showing the reassembly process from my experience.

It's a good instructional video. fixed my S9+ myself and used this as my guide + their website has tons of info regarding where the adhesion is strong / weak / and where to watch out for. One thing i'd like to tell everyone who's planning to do this, definitely take pics along the way. even if it's a crappy old phone. Also, watch out for the white and blue wires. they go underneath the main motherboard or else you wont be able to install the speaker plate.

It looks like the antenna cables came out with the daughterboard. But the replacement daughterboard (on iFixit website anyway) doesn't appear to include the antenna cables. Presumably, I would have to move them from the old board to the new one. Does that require soldering?

I guess this will not be helpful anymore but. 1: Yes you have to extract them from the old board preferably or get a pair of new ones. They cost about $5 where I live. 2: No, you do not need to do any soldering whatsoever. However one thing that is not mentioned here is when you assemble the phone back it is advised to use a new glue tape for the back panel to ensure the water resistance of the phone. I just repaired mine and did not exchange the tape. The backpanel fit snuggly back and I reheated the glue to unify it abit but it holds perfectly. For my repair I swapped the daughterboard and the jack port and it cost me about $20-$25 which is good for +2 year old phone so far. :)
