This device in the video clearly has already been taken apart before. There is no adhesive around the edge when the cover comes off. That glass is nowhere near that easy to get off. I followed this same procedure using a hot plate. Even heated it a little longer to make sure the glue was soft and glass broke as soon as I got to the edge. A thin business card just sliding was enough to break the glass

I took much more time to do it on an S8 a few times and it all went well. You just have to be patient and not rush or force anything when doing it

Bought the replacement port, followed this video. Could not get the phone hot enough to soften the glue. Broke the back. Maybe you should go into more detail about how hot to get the phone, and not "Burn" it.

great informative video mate! one question please ,my s9plus intermittenly getting usb connected/disconnected, it doesnt fast charge anymore and sometimes usb moisture detected. is it a big possibility the usb port needs to be replaced? really need your advice. Yes it can. Since there is moisture on the usb itself obviously the new one you get will not have moisture.

I accidentally damaged 1 end 1 of those 2 cables connect from main board to the charger assembly so not the wire won't hold in place, where can I find another wire like that?

It's the charging port it needs to be changed as is done in this video, do it yourself it really isn't that hard plus it doesn't hurt to learn how to fix a phone, if you go get it fixed somewhere it's probably going to cost at leats 5 times more.. best of luck

This guys is full of crap. This video is extremely edited. One clip the camera is connected, the next cut, it has been removed. No mention about connecting the antennas. Why is your battery removed?
