Also has LOUD audio, even tho the speakers aren't in necessarily prime locations it really projects!You do need to get a case for this bad boy IMMEDIATLY though as it doesn't come with one.Battery life is really good! Standby time us FANTASTIC. This guy can go about a week on standby and be just fine. The screen is massive so the longer you have the screen on, brightness especially, it will effect battery life. I am very happy with it though!One thing that I didn't consider is that since the screen resolution is so high, viewing ticktocks/ reading webtoons can be slightly blurry. There is no way to turn down resolution either, so it just be like that.Would still judge this bad boi at 10/10 for my first tablet. I've had it 3 months now and its not shown any evidence of "slowing down" or anything. Love it!

I just got the tablet in black and does everything that I need it to do and for documents that I need for work I plan to download an app so I can have them available to use instead of going back and forth between tabs on my laptop. I also feel like I can work on the road a little easier with it as well (I work from home). While it might not be the hogh end tablet, it doesn't make it a bad tablet at all.

Yes it does I use it for eBay and youtube and movies streaming social media mostly.. it could also help that I have 128gb card on it .only complain about it I have is finding a case eBay is your best bet or Amazon ..and that screen is only 720p buts the battery is really good on it...it's faster then my Xiaomi a2 Lite sometimes lol

add spen and high-end snapdragon processor. the aspect ratio for tab s6 is so weird but for 8 inch it will be ok. have a tab s2 8 inch and waiting for a successor for this model. bought a ipad mini 5 for my 8 inch usage until samsung offers something similar :(

A useful review, thanks. It's clearly useful as a tablet for someone who otherwise would have bought a Kindle Fire 8 HD but was put off by the limitations of that platform. Btw, I don't care about "two big updates", I do care about security patches. I can't find where Samsung make promises about how long they will support each device with security patches for, but at least they have page where they are honest about the current status of each device and it looks like tablets last 3 years or so from release. This is why I am choosing this device over the Lenovo M8, because as far as I can see Lenovo don't talk about security patches at all. Devices becoming insecure (and therefore arguably unusable on the Internet) due to lack of updates is something I wish reviewers would talk about more.

Works well but due to less ram the printer app could not process the print command and takes more time for forward print command to printer. Already I bought brothers 2080 DW wireless printer. thank you! my 2yo takes everyonesssss phones to listen to his number songs (speech delay but lovessss numbers) i have an amazon tablet got 2 years ago and i couldn't download a SINGLE speech therapy app on it. its garbage. my 8yo doesnt even use it and it was a gift for him. giving that to my elderly dad to use to read books (basically all.its good for) and getting this one for the kids. i dont need much in a tablet but its on sale on amazon for only 117$ , which is all I was willing to spend on a 2yo to share with his 8yo brother (who has his own phone he barely uses anyway) your review helped me buy this and the samsung 6lite!
