Recently I learned that Nokia also has a 8' tablet (T10) it's smaller than the A7 Lite and has a better processor. For me it's the best 8' tablet now, but it's still far away from the ipad

Tab A7 Lite with a good CPU would be a great value rival for the Ipad Mini. Sadly the Tab A7 Lite is underpowered.

Yep, wouldn't take much either tbh A recent 6 or 7 series Snapdragon, or an older 8 series shouldn't increase cost by much, but would make this so much better!

@@FilthyCasualTech Higher spec cpu/gpu as oled etc. would only drain the battery. The size (coat pocketable) and performance (KZbin,email,chess..) it does just fine.

Well, with better components it could get a bigger battery too. It currently has a similar sized one to a Pixel 6 Pro, so it should have room to expand. Obviously it would start getting expensive though.

played with this at a display in Costco last week. Went back and forth between Chrome Browser and KZbin. Browsing was slow (UI touch laggey). KZbin actually froze up and refused to open up or close out. Had to restart the tablet. Not sure this is even worth $100 USD

At this point for a smaller Samsung tab, I would be looking at the A9 Still slow, but not nearly as underpowered as the A7 lite

How long does your battery last mine dies quick. I just got it like a week ago.

What counts as quick? It's only being used as a Kindle reader at the moment and it gets plugged in every few days to top it off. It isn't a huge battery for its size though.

Only thing I can think of is using something like accubattery to check on the drain source If nothing looks out of place, try a factory reset, otherwise get it replaced
