This tablet is packed with high end features but it does make some compromises to get the price as low as it is. Find out if the Galaxy Tab A7 2020 model is right for you!

I'm glad that Samsung brought the 3GB Ram version of this to India. It was really sucky that they only launched the Tab A 10.1 2019 with 2GB here.

As for charging, does the Tab A7 support fast charging of any sort? I don't mind the charger shipping with it in the box but I already have a couple of Samsung devices with their charge including the 25w Super Fast Charger for my A70 phone. Can I use it for this Tab in case I buy one?

I have a Tab A 10.1 2016 (SM-T580). Is the A7 a worthwhile upgrade? I ask because I know the screen on the previous Tab A 10.1 2019 wasn't as good as the 2016 version I own - it was much dimmer and less vivid.

Does not seem to have a vibration motor, the uk wifi version hasnt that I have, no one seems to mention this in reviews as I spent hours going through settings to find the option , if its an important thing for you but its not for me as I turn that function off. Does anyone no if you can enable discover by swiping to the left option I cant find how to enable it., this is my first samsung. So far i,m pleased with mine.

Hi Kevin, I doubt between this A7 2020 and the S6 lite... the last one being 33% more expensive at least. The S6 lite with the sensitive stylus is definitely better for note taking, but would the A7 be able to cope decently with this task? I think the S6 lite is the real rival of 2020 entry-level Ipads, not this A7, because of the taking notes capabilities.

Without a shadow of a doubt I'd recommend this new version over the 2019 model. 10.1" is still good but the most notable differences are the 2020 model's better software update coverage going forward and better battery life. Glad you liked the format :)

The Tab A7 is finally a worthy successor to the Tab A 10.5 2018! The 2019 has only mono sound in landscape orientation.

So the U.S. Retail pricing ended up being $230. Not bad for what you get. But even more impressive is the Black Friday pricing at most retailers, just $150! That's a fantastic price for a device that hasn't been out more than a month, with the specs on the higher end of what you'd see in a budget Tablet. Along with a quality display and build quality that Samsung is famous for, some really great speakers, very solid battery life, etc, it's a fantastic deal to pick up during the holiday sales if you can snag it at that $150 price point. Just bought a basic $10 folio case for it off Ebay, along with a $20 Ipega Bluetooth gamepad that wraps around the sides, paired it with a 128GB Sandisk MicroSD I had laying around, and I've got myself a fantastic 10" Emulation gaming machine & workstation for less than $200 total.

Does anyone know if Samsung uses the same panel in all devices? The viewing experience on mine has been not very good. Viewing angles were bad, blacks way worse than on an older mediapad M5 lite, and colours seem washed out. Only the brightness is alright. Since I only watch KZbin, view some documents and take notes, I seriously consider the matepad 10.4

They are just average doc. You have to have the screen straight into your eyes to have the best view and that's fact applies mostly when you have lines on completely white background. From a regular pdf reader on this tab

If you install CODM and PUBG on 32gb storage, this only remaining around 9 to 8 gb storage. I recommend buy 64gb storage. I already buy 32bg storage and sadly you can't move apps form internal storage to sd card.

Just ordered one at the Black Friday special price of just $150. I'd say at that price it's a pretty darn impressive budget tablet without question. The only disappointing bit is that the USB-C jack is only USB2.0 when it really should be USB3.0 these days. Kinda surprising that they didn't go with 3.0 for this, but I guess ya can't have it all at this price point. For $150 I am more than happy with the purchase.

it does come with the sd removable tool. take the packaging apart. sometimes it slides under the cardboard.

i really like my A7 64gb my friend whom i support kinda wanted me to buy the 32 because its cheaper but damn i would have ran out of storage and its my main computer. for computing stuff. just home crap. im no business person or anything. i bought a 256gb card with it making my total $300 usd at bestbuy. i put all my entire lifes collection of cd's on the sd card in lossless format. and still have like 64 gb of space to spare
