hi. when you flip the covers back on the book cases do any of the the covers magnetize to the back as well? like if I were to just hold it in landscape mode, does the cover attach to the back or just flop around?

I don't personally use any, there are plenty on Amazon if you look it up, a lot of them are going to feel a little cheaper though. That's why I prefer not to get them. It feels a little easier to me to carry around a little bit of a higher quality keyboard and just carry it separately. It gives me more flexibility not to always have to have a keyboard attached. But I can have a keyboard ready when I need it. Because when you don't need the keyboard, you're always going to have it hanging there and you're going to have to carry it everywhere, and if you take the keyboard out of the case, you're going to have a huge extra chunk of your case just sitting there. It seems like a keyboard is more of a secondary use in most cases, which is why I like the idea of having something separate. But not everyone has my thoughts and I get that, so I do wish you the best of luck to find what you need

Thanks for being subscribed! Sorry for the late response. You can take notes, it just depends on what app you want. Samsung notes, OneNote, these are all apps you can download for note taking, if you are referring to a stylus and drawing on your tablet, this doesn't use an s-pen. The s-pens have special features that this tablet can't use, like palm rejection. That's handy when you want to draw with the pen but you want it to reject any touch from your hands. This tablet can't do any of that, so you have to buy a capacitive stylus, which basically has no extra features. So you can still use it to take notes, but it will work similar to touch from your finger, no extra features, but it still works. Hope this helps. I don't have links. Honestly you could get any Bluetooth mouse. Any Bluetooth mouse should work just fine. You can find Bluetooth Microsoft or Logitech mice on Amazon for pretty cheap

Thank you for the informative video. I am giving my Samsung Tab A8 (with camera in the middle) to my sister and want to get a keyboard. Is it hard to hook up the keyboard? Do I need a mouse with the keyboard? Sorry for the dumb question but I never knew you could get a keyboard for a tablet lol

I would recommend getting a bluetooth keyboard like the logitech k380. Basically, you will have to make sure batteries are in, turn the keyboard on. When it turns on it normally goes straight into "pairing mode". So you go to your bluetooth settings, search for devices and normally it will pop up after scanning. Then you will click to connect. At that point, any time you turn on the keyboard it will automatically try to connect to the tablet. Sometimes you have to put it into pairing mode, if for example you are trying to connect to another device, and every keyboard has a different button to put it in pairing mode. But hopefully this helps you! Sorry for the late comment.

I don't always review the official accessories, sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. In this case I'll just say that the official Tab A8 cases won't be such a must have thing for an average person. This doesn't have magnets on the bottom to attach to a keyboard, so any keyboard cases will be bluetooth keyboards anyway. And any Samsung cases will be nice, but to be honest they are probably a little overpriced compared to a lot of other cases out there. I was trying to find a bunch of cases you can find on amazon and get for a great price. I do often cover Samsung's official accessories though. I did for the Tab S8, S8 Ultra, S8 Plus, etc. But I just didn't for the A8. But hopefully this video helps some.

It only supports capacitive styluses. Those essentially don't have any extra features and they just work like your finger is touching the screen, and the tablet won't support any type of palm rejection or anything like that. So you just have to look up capacitive styluses. But no spen's will work on this

Just being honest here, I think you spent too much time on how the cases look, I would rather have heard you mention if they had a sleep wake function and if they function properly other than that good review.

Good thoughts. It's hard to know what to talk about. So I try my best. Honestly though, the sleep to wake function doesn't really depend on the case too much anymore. A lot of times, anything that covers the screen and the sensors will automatically trigger that function. But either way I do get what you're saying, sometimes it's good to talk about those extra features.
