Also has LOUD audio, even tho the speakers aren't in necessarily prime locations it really projects!You do need to get a case for this bad boy IMMEDIATLY though as it doesn't come with one.Battery life is really good! Standby time us FANTASTIC. This guy can go about a week on standby and be just fine. The screen is massive so the longer you have the screen on, brightness especially, it will effect battery life. I am very happy with it though!One thing that I didn't consider is that since the screen resolution is so high, viewing ticktocks/ reading webtoons can be slightly blurry. There is no way to turn down resolution either, so it just be like that.Would still judge this bad boi at 10/10 for my first tablet. I've had it 3 months now and its not shown any evidence of "slowing down" or anything. Love it!

My mom need to replace her old ipad mini 2 as its battery failing. We went to the apple store and found an ipad cost around $360 that was from previous year ipad. We are quite satisfied with the price and already decided to buy as we already confirm the stock availability. But we decided to head to Samsung store that was beside Apple store anyway and told the salesman "We go Samsung store to have a look, we will be right back. ". We then saw this Tablet A8 with $120 cheaper with the same spec like ram, storage and etc but with even better feature including fast charging and free casing. We then decided to buy this instead. lol

Apple is better, this Tablet is actually not a good upgrade from the Tab A7. The IPad 9 has a higher resolution and sharper display, while the Tab A8 has good resolution display but the screen appears bluish in color which kind of ruins the experience considering Samsung is known for their displays. The IPad 9 displays bright colors and beautiful contrast. The only advantage the Tab A8 has is it's quad speakers. And with the IPad you can replace the battery, with the Tab A8 it's questionable if Samsung offers the same service

Here is the thing on Samsung which I applaud they are the only respected brand which truly affordable tablets, the iPad 9 even though it’s less expensive than all the others from that brand it’s still expensive. The Samsung A line might do significant sacrifices but at least they truly have current affordable tables. The Lenovo, surface and other mid range price tablets are almost on the same price as an iPad. Samsung it’s only respected and super well known brand which has truly low prices for the people who need it.

But it's not that good, even if the IPad is more expensive many reviewers recommend the IPad 9 as a solid Budget Tablet that is worth spending extra on. I bought the base model IPad 9 which was $60-$70 over my budget but I'm so glad I did cause it's just head and shoulders above Samsung's Tab A tablets

I own the iPad 9 and love it but I got it as a birthday present, not everyone is that lucky to be able to get an iPad. In Mexico the iPad prices are something to think about in a hard way here the iPad 9 is 200 dollars more than in the US

@@typhoon_8086 the Samsung A8 is 5,300 MXN which I believe it’s 250 dollars. While the iPad is 9,000 MXN is 430 approx. The dollar right now is at 20. so 20 dollars are 400 MXN. So here the A8 is something to consider price wise. The basic iPad while great it’s still something it might hurt paying for. The iPhone Se here is 11,000 MXN which is a little more than the399 you guys pay in the US the fair price would be 8,000 MXN but goes up to 11,000

I've been using this tablet for several months and got on sale at best buy for $179.99. It's awesome and especially for the sale price. I adjust my expectations not comparing to Samsung's S series tablets and if I had a higher budget I would totally buy any of those. Overall it's just a great tablet. Reliability has also been a plus.

Take the IPad 9th gen, its $330 and yet it packs a processor thats similar to the performance of the $700 Samsung Tab S8 and the IPadOS software is simple and easy to use. Multitasking is so much easier on IPadOS 15 compared to Samsungs One UI 3.1. Also did you see the price of Apples new IPad Air 5? Its $599 or less and you get the same performance as on the IPad Pros. Samsungs closest tablet to the Air is the Tab S7 FE and yet it packs weaker performance compared to the Tab S8 and will only receive 4 years of OS updates compared to Apples 7+ years of updates

If Apple can cram the $330 IPad with new features every year without raising it's price, then Samsung should definitely offer more premium features to their Tab A line

@@WildEKyode true, but if Lenovo, TCL, and Other Brand Companies can manufacture and sell a Tablet with Active Stylus Support AND PIN Connected Keyboard Support for $250-$299, surely Samsung can have the Tab A Series come bundled with Pen Support and PIN Keyboard Support. Especially since the only "affordable" model of the Tab A8 costs $230, while the 64GB Model Tab A8 costs $270 and the 128GB Model costs $329. In fact for cost of the 128GB Tab A8, you can buy an IPad 9th Gen. It's just so disappointing that Samsung is not offering features on their Tab A Line that other smaller companies are selling for basically the same price

@@typhoon_8086 you make a good argument but those other companies you mention are smaller and trying to make a name for themselves thus the features offered at a relatively affordable price point. remember when you buy samsung or Apple your not just paying for features your paying for brand name and a promise for good reliable tech and they will not give you too much at a midrange priced device it would affect sales of flagship devices plus companies differentiate on what they consider flagship features

I guess after using an IPad 9th Gen and seeing as how the Tab A8 is only $80 cheaper on sale at Costco and $300 regular price, the IPad offers extraordinary value for the money. With the IPad your getting a majority of the features found in the IPad Pro, including the full IPad OS Experience. While on the Tab A8 the only feature brought down from the Tab S8 are the quad speakers. It’s just puzzling and disappointing for me to see Samsung offer such a terrible tablet for even as much as the IPad, especially since Samsung continues to poke fun at Apple

I have both A7 and A8, Technically A7 with Snap Dragon is faster on the CPU by about 15%. However the Graphix Chip on A8 is faster by almost 20-30%. Better sound bigger screen. Covid-19 production year (chip shortages.) Samsung did a good job with this ebay you can pick it up for $50, used from return in box distributors. Good deal.

wouldnt that have been awesome! i picked mine up randomly at a pawn shop altho i saw the A8 awhile ago while shoppin for a tab on amazon i assumed it was a cheapy samsung tab therefore took my chances n purchased a no big name tab and it sucked haha but dang when i bought this tablet frm the pawn shop like not even a day W/ it that it straight belly dropped straight into the concrete and shattered i was hella suprised cuz the screen is legit made outta glass i cut myself a bit seein if the screen was responsive haha but i thought maybe i'd purchase a screen repair kit n do it myself to save a LOT of money(looked easy) but on Amazon the delivery date's were way out their so i chose to buy another tab since i do like the quality build, the arrangement of the sound system and the Dolby Atmos included in this tab i searched crazy like for the same one on fb marketplace prior but not ONE person was sellin theirs for a realistic amount given its been used and outta package at the end i bought one frm amazon for 160$ for the 32 GB and 3 gb ram altho ive noticed not any of these vids mention the option it has to add quite a few more gigs of virtual Ram or storage(1 of those haha) to add to the 3gbs plus samsung's Developers mode that is indeed a secret thing cuz i was only made aware when i was reading comments on reddit altthough this works on a few of Samsungs phones n Tabs, But! had i known ebay sold some for that amount, that would've been my first place to look n then i would worry bout my broken one later on either way......oh well i guess lol....

CPU looks weaker than my 720G in my phone so it might not do GameGube emulation well. Sad to see only low end tabs keeping the 3.5mm jack, would be nice to use my USB C tv tuner and headphones on higher spec tabs with a SD 870 chipset. I don't mind bezels much on tabs, people forget that they need to hold it now and then.

The A7 is still capable. It has Widevine L1. Th Tab A8 even though L1, still no HD update from the Netflix side. The A7 is cheaper, polished, optimized.
