I'm so sick of every review talking about Touchwiz. If you don't like it throw another launcher on it. I have a Mega 6.3 and threw Nova Launcher on it. That's the beauty of Android, you can customize to the way you like it.

I think the screen mirroring feature it works with the Xbox one... When playing a video are music just press the screen mirroring icon on top.

I thought the tablet would last for 12 hours of HD video-playback but it didn't plus I turned on airplane mode, turning on power saving mode and brightness at 25% and it gave me like 3 to 4 hours of battery life! Why!!!! Pls help me

Samsung is very close to passing the ipad. The ipad has been the defacto standard in tablets but basically the ipad only has the metal construction and excellent ios for tablets. Metal is also a minus because of added weight and size

Sajid Adnan 16gb or 32gb on board with a slot. mine is 32gb with a 128gb card. works great.

"Uninspiring plastic design". Meh! It's not exactly the most gorgeous tablet, but it's far from ugly and its design works. It's amazingly thin, and light, and it looks nice enough. Plus, what really matter is it's display, and its an extremely gorgeous, vivid, amazing, high density display. Not all gadgets have to look like slabs of metal to impress with their designs.

This is a nice product from Samsung, its finger scanner is unnecessary though. I hope there will be a Google Play edition.

a 9 rating... wow! Engadget gave it a good rating as well and they say it has a great battery life too ( 12:22 ) impressive. you getting there, Samsung... just get rid off the touchwiz and make it of a different material ( a more durable one )

8.4 is Pentile Diamond RG BG but the 10 is full RGB stripe. So the larger has twice as many sub pixels, but the displays appear to the eye to be of equal quality.

Please! At 359 ppi, it couldn't matter less if its pentile or not. Details are gonna look as sharp as you can get on a Tablet right now. Viewing angles are flawless. And colors just come to life.

That would require the Pro, on paper, to have an OLED display, which it doesn't.

Michael Hannigan You neglect to mention the 3gb of ram as well. My minor problem with the S is the octi core processor... I am not sure if samsung has gotten it right yet, where as the pro has a traditional quad core. Still, it would be nice to see the two duke it out.

Corrosive I was only pointing out the difference that I think sets it apart from the pack. The display is a huge plus. The fact that OLED displays of this density is quite an accomplishment by Samsung. As for the Octa-core, the coherence issue "fixed" in this iteration.

I just returned my tab pro, and I regret it, I don't even want the tab s anymore after more research. so I guess im gonna have to wait till the next premium tablet from Samsung :/ . I hate the color choices of the tab s, and I don't want the Samsung cpu, and I don't want to be required to root a $400-500 tab, just so it runs decent. eh.
