Who cares if the S Pen is cheap feeling? It comes for free in the box!! I say well done to Samsung. If you don’t like it then go spend more money on another stylus.

how will it be with the battery? I have a s2 and only get a maximum of 6 hours. Also the updates, I have android 7.0 but will not get 8.0 on the s2, this is so much better at Apple, many years of updates. I am also a fan of OLED screens but do not trust Samsung anymore because my tabs and tabs do not even get 10 hours, and IOS is working a bit more fun, plus more apps for tablet. I doubt now between the s4 and the ipad pro. I use it for netflix, watching TV, reading newspapers and magazines. occasional gaming.

In my battery test (HD video looping at 50% brightness) it lasted 14 hours which is a very good result for an android tablet. But it always depends on what you are doing so I can't promise how long it will last for you. However, I think the Galaxy Tab S4 is to expensive for what it offers. If you are willing to spend that much, it might be better to get a used iPad Pro or wait for the new iPad Pro's that probably will be announced in October.

I personally like to use genetic Bluetooth keyboards form Microsoft or Logitech because they work with almost every device including phones. Mainly to save money. However, they have to be charged separately which is not the case with the official keyboard. If you plan to use it a lot, it might be worth it to get the Samsung one. Otherwise probably not. I'm using the Microsoft Universal Mobile Keyboard but I haven't tried the Logitech ones recently.

Wow something I will never understand is when Samsung released the Samsung Tab Note 10.1 with the S pen included and a hole included to hide the pen one of the best tablets ever. Later they released the 12 inches tablet...... and years later if I’m not wrong Apple released the first IPad Pro 12.9 with that horrible Apple Pencil....... I personally bought it and returned...... too expensive.... I’m using the tab S4 I can’t complaint...... great display great performance I’m using for school and work purposes....... but I wonder when Samsung would release again the galaxy note tab 10.1?????

Yes, the S4 is even a bit faster. It does not have the fingerprint scanner and the metal back of the S5e. Instead, it uses an Iris scanner and a glass back. I've got final review videos about the S4, S5e and S6 online, if you're interested.
