i dunno.. i'm watching this vid on my tab S7 FE. i was using the S6 lite, and passed t to my daughter and purchased this for 520 usd for the 4G LTE version here in Turkey. the display is great,multitasking is great.. it is just great.. i don't get that over reaction from some reviewers. It is a tab made for someone writing notes and hovering the internet and use whatsapp etc. If someone needs a productivity tab or keening for an AMOLED screen so pass to S7+ or an iPad pro,! S7 FE is offering a bigger display with much lower price than S7+, as if everyone can afford it! regards and peace..

The review I am truly looking for, thank you so much! I was planning to surprise my mum with a new tab as her tab S3 is starting to show its age and her constant complain of it is driving me crazy.. She only uses it for watchung her dramas, facebook and novel reading. Most of the reviews I’ve seen said the screen is meh for gaming but that’s not what I am looking for til i stumbled upon your comment. Look like my mom is getting a new tab for Xmas or her bday (broke uni student but anything to make her happy and nag at me less about my sleep habits..)

The reviews serve to give multiple perspectives. Plus the differences in price on Amazon makes me think I'd rather add a few more $$$ and get the S7+. The iPad pro is excellent but the $300 keyboard and $100 for the Pencil is a no no no for me.

I bought the tablet based on your reviews and I really like it and I believe it's a great premium value tablet. I had an A-series and clearly it s significant improvement. You can do real work with it. I use it mainly for note-taking, internet browsing and consuming content and I find it very well for these purposes. I was worried that it would be "too large" being my first extra-large screen sized tablet but I find it much more productive than standard 10" inch tablets. The extra screen area is very usefull for confortable note taking. The weakest point is the screen: it's just ok. I mainly see a slight annoying blur effect when swiping pages due to the 60Hz refresh rate. Watching movies is fine experience but clearly does not have the "ohhh" factor at all. For the kids to watch a movie on a holiday trip is perfect, though. In my country the price premium for the S7+ is just too much (almost +40% higher), so the FE is great value.

great point on the TFT. Some people instantly brushed off the display of S7 because it is only TFT, but the S7 display is top of the line, it not even close to other TFT display. AMOLED is great but you wont lose so much in choosing S7.

I'd rather have this because first things first, I don't need the Bluetooth features of the S-pen because I'm an artist, I don't see myself using it, second, I love how the keyboard is designed, I pretty much want to use a mouse than a trackpad, lastly, I want the screen real estate.

If it was priced at $400 USD or less it would be a great little tablet. But at $529 for the base model, you can easily find a S7+ in that price range. Sadly it's a midrange tablet with a high end price.

My old device that I traded in is the original 2020 version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, which was a used unit that I bought from eBay for less than $200. That old tablet has already shown its age, especially the Samsung Exynos 9611 chip, which was holding me back. When it comes to the lesser TFT screen on both tablets, I’m used to such limitations.

First time working with a tablet, I'm not regretting it, it really boosted my productivity being able to work anywhere, the pen is really nice, writing notes over video snapshots directly is my favorite feature

Great video. Excellent view points on the Tab S7 FE. I'll wait and see if they will lower the price on this one. Maybe when the Tab S8 drop, we could see lower prices for the S7 FE. I'm a firm believer of benefits - cost = value. The Tab S7 FE just doesn't have much benefits to justify the cost to me. Honestly, I've been way more impressed with tablets such as the Fire HD 10, Tab S6 Lite and the Lenovo P11 Pro. Great benefits and good prices on those tablets. FYI be on the lookout for the Lenovo P12 Pro. I'm waiting for that to drop too.

I just bought mine at Best Buy 128 GB storage, 6 GB RAM on sale for $450. I'm sure the S7 & S7+ are way better. But I tell you, coming from a S2 which is almost dying, this tablet is phenomenal in my view. The first thing that blew me away was the speakers sound on Pandora. It sounds amazing. I can imagine how the S7 & S7+ sounds with 4 speakers. I hope the drawing apps works well in it.

If you will be using the Tab S7 FE for 3 years, I would go for the 128GB model because it offers 6GB of RAM instead of 4GB found on the 64GB Model. It will help the tablet run smooth as new features are added and more files are stored.

I'm sure the Tab S7 FE is 1 of the best tablets ever! Everyone is just focusing on the price, which is a terrible price tho. But price apart, this tablet must be amazingly great! I had a cheap 7 inch Galaxy Tab A6 (from 2016) with 1.5GB RAM and 8GB storage for 4 years and loved my experience with it! It was an amazing tab. I just hated having to delete stuff every single day, because I ran out of storage. I basically used this tab always with like 300MB free of storage and the tab still didn't feel slow, even in year 4. The only bad thing was that it had 1 speaker on the back of the tablet (worst idea ever), so I could never hear that well. So I magine how MUCH BETTER the Tab S7 FE must be. Anyone who gets the Tab S7 FE will fall in love with Samsung and Android tablets 100% sure. Like I did with my cheap Tab A6 and now became a Samsung tablets fan. I now own the 11" Galaxy Tab S7. Best device I have ever owned!

I still have not regretted it. The screen and speakers are great. I wish it would have 128 storage but I have an sd card. It runs the games I play just fine. I used dex on it regularly as well. It's convinced me to pick up the s9 when it's available on 5g networks.

i tested out on store and shocked. it feels really premium, material quality 10/10, i like 12.4 inch screen much. Subjectively image quality and brightness look way better than medium range tablets. it is like fake s7+, looks very same in fact very downgraded version of s7+, Samsung tries to rip off... Refresh rate, ram, display type, battery sinking chipset... [[In may country limited options, not all products with pro version etc. Here are my choices (Huwaie Matepad 11 with pen + keyboard - 507 USD). (S7 FE 630 USD + keyboard= 895 USD, S7 similarily same 900 dollar around. Lenovo p11 non pro 128gb+keyboard+pen =561 USD. S6 lite with keyboard case =596 USD, S7+ with keyboard= 1200 USD, ipads are much pricier than these with accessories.... I guess my choice will be exiled huwaie.

Why battery life is better on s7 plus despite fe having same battery capacity - I think the s7 plus 120hz display has dynamic refresh rates - meaning refresh rate adjust to the content you watch so it saves battery. If you have something static displaying it refreshes slower opposed to constantly refreshing at 60hz for the FE.

From where i live (indonesia), The tab s6 lite at launch (cellular already included+128gb/4gb) was released at around $504, and the tab s7 fe 5g (128gb/6gb) released at around $650, which is really pricey, I expect the 128gb/6gb tab s7fe wifi to be priced at $530, bc like $650 is really expensive honestly.

Now that the S8 is out, you can get the S7FE for $430. I found a 6G/128G WiFi version for that price and couldn't resist. Except for gaming and video creation, I am finding that it's replacing my laptop, especially with DeX and wireless screen sharing, and since I bought a tablet sized bluetooth keyboard for $17. I also have a 200G micrSD card inserted just to play with and copied some movies to it.

Hey Ivan! I was wondering about the keypad support. Now, officially samsung has separate keypad covers for s7 plus and s7fe (without trackpad). And the one for the plus mentions compatibility only for that device, while the one for the fe mentions that it's compatible with both. Does that mean that the fe has less connectors and hence cannot support the keypad cover with trackpad? Would be great if you could check this out and confirm. Another point was, one of the reviews specifies that even though Samsung mentions that the spen on the fe is passive, but apparently it still charges when snapped onto the s7 plus. Again, does this mean that we could use air gestures with this once it is charged, or Samsung has blocked the functionality itself in this spen? And can the spen be charged any other way, like a Qi charging pad?

I've heard that the FE is compatible with the keyboard and trackpad, you just have to buy the one made for the S7 Plus and apparently it just works Edit, saw a video proving they work together perfectly

@@AyrisX86 Thanks for the confirmation! I also got to know about this just a couple days back through the reviews on amazon for the s7+ keyboard cover, as some users use it for the FE. But the cost is prohibitively high, almost half of what I paid for the tab FE.

My S7 FE wasnt able to connect to wi fi very well. I could be in my bedroom and it would drop wifi but my S20 note would still be able to get that same wifi signal fine. Maybe I got a dud? Either way, its getting returned today

I have a Samsung Galaxy S20 FE with 8 GB of RAM and the available RAM with no apps running is about 4GB. I’m wondering Is this tablet will be usable for note-taking if I go with 4GB model? I think Android 11 and Samsung OneUI 3 need at least 6GB of RAM to be more usable and less laggy.

I have the same setup as yours. s20 fe with 8gb ram. I have tab S6 lite and tab s7 fe (sdg 778g) both are 64gb variant. if you plan on specifically note-taking, s6 Iite will fit your needs. I'm a productivity user, so I bought tab s7 fe instead. Let me tell you, it works wonders. I have yet to experience lag. It might be because of ram plus that was inserted through software update.

marginally better between 778g and 750g ? ^^ the 778 does fortnite in epic whilst the 750g can only do medium. The benchmark differences are also huge.

No. I remember seeing an advisory when I inserted an sd card. Only multimedia files can be stored on the card. But that's how you'd want it, as running apps from the card would be too slow

My country doesn't sell tab s7 plus and tab s7 is out of stock everywhere. Like it never happed. That leave me no choice I think I'll buy maybe in the future I will trade it with something much better.
