This HUB has a HDMI output that is capable of the highest resolution possible in DEX mode on any Samsung device, which is 3440x1440.
The HUB also has a micro and full size SD card slot interface. Two USB C ports for connecting keyboards, mice, USB audio interfaces and other USB peripherals. There's also a USB C port so you can charge your Galaxy S7 or S7+ and there's also a gigabit Ethernet socket on the end of the Hub.

Yes, a headphone socket would be ace, although I use a Behringer USB audio interface with the hub and it gives me mic inputs as well. The C port isn't so much of an issue for me as my C SSDs connect via A. Cheers, Dave.

Hi. No, you can't connect any USB C headphones directly to this hub, the USB C port on the hub is only for power. However, if you use a cheap USB C to USB A adapter, you can then connect USB C devices, such as your headphones, to one of the USB A ports. Cheers, Dave.

Hi David! My CableCreation just arrived, and I'm having a problem. On wifi, PUBG will delivery me 20ms and go up from time to time. When I plugged the RJ45 on the wifi transmitter it went up to 460ms and It just stood there, neether went up or down, just stayed in 460ms. That's pretty hi for a cable connection... did you experience some like this, or do you know what's going on?

Hi. When I had my Tab S7 I never had any issues with latency. Mine used to be about 32ms to 42ms, which is basically what I’d get with any other device plugged into my router. Just in case, switch off the Wi-Fi on your S7 so that it is forced to use the Ethernet and see if that makes any difference. One thing I’ve had a problem with though, is HDMI latency with my S23 Ultra. I had used my Ultra a couple of months back when I first got it with this hub and there were no issues. One of the recent Android/Samsung updates has resulted in noticeable latency with the HDMI output, which makes gaming almost impossible as there’s between 6 to 8 frames delay on my monitor from what I do on my controller. This is obviously an issue with the S23 Ultra since one of the updates over the last couple of months and not an issue with the hub. This problem happens in DeX mode and mirroring, although, is worse in mirroring. I also use this hub for gaming on CoD Mobile on my iPad Pro and it’s never given me any issues, no HDMI latency and my internet latency/ping is again about 32ms to 42ms, which again is what my router is actually doing. Do you have any other device to check the hub with? It could be another tablet or phone that does HDMI over USB C or even a desktop or laptop computer, so you can see how they respond with the Ethernet and HDMI. Although saying that, I doubt very much that there’s an issue with your hub. Sorry I can’t be anymore specific. Cheers, Dave.

Yes, Tone, same account for both. I’m not sure if Android and iOS players get to play against each other but it is the same account for both. I think it’s one account for any Mobile version of COD. As for which is best, a question you never asked but I’ll answer it anyway 😆 On balance the game is better on iOS, specifically iPad Pro. On Android, or at least my Tab S7 in DEX mode, the game plays in 16:9 when connected to a TV or monitor. This is great as the picture fills the whole screen an is bigger. Although on the iPad Pro on a TV you don’t lose any horizontal field of view and you in fact gain vertical field of view but the picture is around a 3:2 aspect ratio pillar boxed in 16:9. So although you don’t lose any field of view compared to the DEX version on the S7, the iPad Pro version is smaller on the 16:9 because of the black bars at the sides. The S7 DEX version feels more immersive because it’s 16:9 but the iPad Pro beats the crap out of it for resolution and quality. It also plays better on the iPad Pro with a more fluid frame rate, at least the 2020 iPad Pro and is awesome with a game controller. The iPad Pro 2020 is still better than the 2021. Cheers, Dave.

Can you do a check on the power delivery port of the hub, to see if the Tab S7 really charges? I found the S7 quite picky with my Anker hub. He , in fact, recognizes the power delivery, and notifies the charging,but always estimates aroun 20h to charge it...

If you connect a external storage to the hub will it work? I also have a Tab S7, a Anker Power Expand, but it doesn't recognize external storage, neither it uses the charging capacity of the Anker hub. But if i connect it to my old smartphone, it works flawlessly... I believe i have some problem with the Tab S7.

@@DavidHarry i believe i know the problem with my Anker hub and the Tab S7. I use a 36w 4 port usb power adapter from Anker to charge my devices. The hub consumes 15w, so only providing 16w to the Tab S7. Probably its not enough to power the Tab S7.

Hi , I also have the Galaxy Tab S7 and it shows that it's charging but the Tabet at 40% of battery left is saying it's going to take 40 hours to charge it , when I connect the charger directly it says it will charge in 1 hour and 16 minutes. When I try to charge my Galaxy A10E it doesn't even light up the lightning bolt icon in the battery icon at the top of the screen , do you think my hub may be defective?

@@paulosaints100 it's probably since your external drive is ntfs. You have to mount that using a plug-in or format that as FAT32 or exFAT.

My problem is that when I connect my 4tb hard drive direct to the tablet via OTG, it can read the hard drive, but if I use a type C USB Hub and then plug the hard drive on it, it cannot be detected or cannot be read. An OTG is like an inverted charger, it provides charge to the hard drive which it obviously needs, have you tried connecting the charger into the usb c hub then your hard drive? My guess is that the hub simply don't provide enough power

hi, I´ve got the same issue with my Anker 8 in 1. Seems like it doesn´t support Samsung S7 as well. Charging is not working as well as no Screen can be connected by HDMI. Need to find another hub.

No, as it's a output port, not an input. Although it's possible to connect a laptop using 3rd party software, and since the port is high bandwidth, there's not much latency.
