Hi, thanks for this vid. I bought this and playing around with it. I find however that I cannot do proper scanning as demonstrated by Samsung's own tutorial on scanning documents with this device. Apparently, the scanner can detect unwanted items, like your fingers holding the document and delete that. It's supposed to also be able to remove wrinkles in the document. None of that works on mine, despite not having added any apps, and updated software. Am wondering if scanning works on yours. Thanks!

@@Ozt13 Nothing flashy. I'm using Marrow - NEET PG preparation app, Notion, Samsung Notes, Quora, Telegram for PDFs, Canva and Ps Lightroom as of now. Everything works super fine and I can even use 3-4 of these apps simultaneously in Dex Mode without any stutters or lags.

I took your advice I traded my S6 Lite (22) in for this tablet. It's a very worthy upgrade. The fingerprint sensor works better than expected. the bigger, better screen is appreciated. The increased ram and storage was a godsend. It's a worthy little brother to my S7FE. The price for an equivalent S6 Lite with 128 GB of storage was only $20 less. So it's a good deal all around.

I, too, have a s6lite right now. I was so happy with it at first. But now the lagging is getting super annoying. Especially I use the tablet for editing with Canva and also some HD video editing. I'm thinking of upgrading to S9, but it'snot within my budget. So s9FE it is. Do you experience any slowness or lags like in S6 Lite? Do you think the S9FE is enough for my use? Aside from the editing, I also tend to open many windows in SamsungDex.

I'm not a fan of Exynos processors (I'd take a Snapdgragon-powered device over it any day, and that's an euphemism)....but my current phone is a base Galaxy S22, which is powered by Exynos....and objectively the chip does its work _very_ well.

Can i have some advice please. I want to upgrade to the tab 9fe from a tab a and the omission of the headphone jack concerns me as i have a decent pair of wired headphones with a 3.5mm jack and bought a usb c to 3.5mm adaptor for my samsung phone and the maximum volume output was to low even after altering the audio volume output option on the phone. Do i need to use a headphone amp or a dac to get proper volume output. My headphones are easy to drive and no issues with the tab a !

I have an LG usbc to jack adaptor and I just tested and works perfectly and gets super loud. You may need to get a different adaptor

What would you recommend to get for a veterinary med student? Is S9 FE fine or should I go for s8 or s9 fe+. I don't like large and heavy devices as I usually walk around and travel to and from places and I need it water/dust proof because of farm visits. I don't do gaming on tablets but more on reading, notetaking, annotating and microsoft apps related work only. I don't really like bluetooth S pen as I do a lot of writing and it might hinder me from working if it goes dead in the middle. I do a lot of multitasking too. Will s9 fe suffice or should i go for another? I've been watching your videos to decide but its hard because I'm really unknowledgeable on tech so I don't know what i should go for. Tysm.

Go for the Tab S8 - it will take care of all of those needs perfectly. Also just so you know, the active pen on the S8 still works and does everything the S Pen does in the S9FE; you just won’t have access to remote control features

What can we expect about battery of S9 FE after 1-2 years. Will it still have a similar backup or would degrade a lot? Depends on your usage, I've had a Tab S6 from 2019 and with heavy use throughout the years it definitely degrades significantly over time. I'm sure if you're a lighter user degradation won't be nearly as bad. After 2 years it should still perform fairly well in terms of battery.

I would like to ask you a safety question I am often in Hospital and previously had a Kindle stolen so hide a tablet under the bedding actually sometimes under my leg as this tablet can get warm would this affect it as with my old Samsung I was able to change it in this position. Not sure how it'll react, but to be clear, the tablet doesn't get hot on its own - it only gets a tiny bit warm if you are doing very heavy work. So if you tablet is under the bed while not used I don't see a reason it'll get warm.

It is not necessary, but you can grab one if you must. The S Pen nibs are pretty soft, and unless you will be purposely pressing very hard on the display, you should be fine.

I've only had this tablet for like about a month now for drawing mostly and I don't see why you shouldn't get this one over the s9 just for note taking and video watching Though I don't know about long term but it works well with multi tasking, just get the + one because frankly the regular 9s fe one screen is kinda small to watch a video + note taking (like it's possible but not enjoyable imo)

The tab s9 FE is now going on sale at $265 US. I got one and it was just right for me. The screen is almost as good as an OLED, bright and crisp. Watching movies with Dolby Atmos is outstanding. The biggest drawback for me is DeX does not have support for external monitors and TVs.
