Yeah I'm using the outdoor cover and the MX keys mini and I'm enjoying it. I can use it with a kickstand anytime I want with that case, and I have a nice Bluetooth keyboard I can bring with me whenever I really want to get productive. I get more travel on the keys, and a Bluetooth mouse is a little more precise than the touchpad

I really don't understand the hate for electronics that use AA batteries. There are great LIOn AA batteries that charge via USB and provide the right voltage that there aren't constant battery warnings. Built in Lithium batteries are nothing more than a baked in obsolescence as they are almost always non-serviceable.

I have to take exception to your comparison to the "cheaper" keyboard covers. I found the Fintie keyboard to be every bit as good as and more comfortable than the Samsung slim. It has several advantages over the slim--the keyboard isn't directly attached to the cover and can be moved to a more comfortable position, something I found very disconcerting with the slim. The Fintie's downside is how HEAVY the combo is--it's more than a pound heavier than the Samsung slim!!! Otherwise, it seems to me to be much stronger, more protective and more verstile than the Slim. Since its keyboard is moveable, you have the advantage of various tilt positions for the tablet, something you can NEVER do with the slim. As to the larger Samsung cover, I personally despise track pads! That's one reason to go with a tablet--so easy to use the touch screen!!! It seems to me you push more toward Samsung so you can get a little perk from them? IDK, just a thought. Anyway, thanks for the vid--it gave me something to think about.

You might want to watch more of my content. I very often push third party accessories. But almost every third party keyboard I've used has indeed felt extremely cheap. It's almost always the case for me. But I also warn people, for example, about the S9 Ultra keyboard. $350 is insane. Buying a nice third party Bluetooth keyboard like the mx keys and a nice case like the Samsung Outdoor cover will save you like $200 and get you a way better overall experience. So yeah. I often recommend cheaper options. I even made a S9 accessories video where I recommend alternatives to the book cover keyboard. Like Bluetooth keyboard. I'm recommending cheaper options.

Do u have problems with keyboard slow response I use the wireless keyboard and response is really slow ( s9 plus) if u could test wireless keyboard aswell. I use the k380 keyboard but it shouldn’t be slow typing my iphone work flawlessly. The k380 doesn’t work well but the mouse is working and it’s opposite for the iphone the mouse not work well but the keyboard work.

Personally my keyboard wasn't slow. I did have occasional issues with certain letters, mainly when typing super fast, a word like "you" would miss the u. But only when typing crazy crazy fast. But the keyboard kept up for me.

I just noticed that whenever I'm removing the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE on the cover book keyboard, the screen feels like it's waving or something. Or when I'm attaching it, too, (using it like a laptop, like a laptop mode style), or is it just a like a notification or something to tell me that it's connected and ready to type/use the keyboard in that manner. It almost like it's flickering or something close to that. Yesterday it's not like that. I didn't notice that at all. I already tried to OFF the AUTO ADJUST BRIGTHNESS. Or is it because of the SOFTWARE UPDATE? I just did it last night, I think, or today. Can someone help this paranoid girl. 😅. Thanks.

I wouldn't worry about it. Is it switching to Samsung Dex? Sometimes it adjusts when it starts to switch, the screen could flicker when it's doing that. I wouldn't worry too much about it honestly. Either way. Just adjusting to the keyboard.

Unfortunately no it's all attached so if you remove the Slim Keyboard you have to remove the entire thing.

Sorry, it would not. If you use the regular keyboard the bottom may attach to type, but it wouldn't properly fold up when carrying it with you.

I've watched a ton of videos reviewing cases for the Samsung Tab S9+ for the past week. A feature that I haven't found anyone cover is will the keyboard flip under and backwards, and/or will the keyboard detach and retach backwards -- both features serve to rest the kickstand on the bottom cover itself while supporting the tablet at its viewing angle.

To be honest I don't think it's covered because it feels pretty irrelevant to most people. The kickstand keeps itself up just fine and doesn't need a keyboard to rest on. So if you just detach the keyboard, it's going to be the same exact thing. Honestly, Even though the book cover keyboard can flip itself backwards, that's also putting a lot of pressure on the place that the pins connect. And I just don't think that's worth doing when you can just detach it

​@AndroidDigest I agree. I think the vast majority of tablet users are indoors while using their tablet. However, for me, it's a feature that I specifically look for because I can rest the tablet on a surface that normally wouldn't support the tablet and kickstand. I travel a lot for work, and a table, or a flat horizontal surface, is not always available to me. Imagine, how to set your tablet on top of a propane tank. Having a bottom cover that flips around to support the kickstand is helpful. But, I can see that the majority of users would never find themselves in this situation. Man I kinda wish the slim and the book cover had a baby that pretty much had the back of the book cover and the keyboard of the slim. I don't really need the touchpad (i think) and the only one viewing angle + non detachable slim keyboard is a huge dealbreaker for me. Who knows maybe i'll actually use the touchpad a lot 🤔

You can get a Bluetooth mouse if you prefer, they aren't super expensive or anything. But I think the trackpad works fine. It's not as good as a expensive trackpad on a laptop, but it's okay

I LOVE the Dexnor keyboard cover for the FE. It lifts the tablet up, like the Apple magic keyboard, and that is so great for my neck. The downside is the touchpad isn't great, but I just turn it off with the function key and the space bar, and then I use a bluetooth mouse, I love the keyboard experience too. Decent? But not that useful? I find it gets oily easily and it can go places I don't want. Yes it does allow two finger scrolling really easily on web pages, a big plus. But PERSONALLY I'm not a fan.

The magic keyboard Does have a detachable element. Its held on with magnets. And pitaka makes a brilliant case for the ipad to work with the magic keyboard. I use both tab s9 + and ipad pro. The magic keyboard is way better than samsungs. But i like using the tab more. Lol.

It's nice that pataka makes a unique solution. But in most cases, and with most cases, you will have to detach it from the entire case and put it in a new case to get it to work. You're losing all protection and you're losing your kickstand and angles. So I still like that detachable element or on the Galaxy Tab

It's not the best keyboard in my opinion either. I recently did a review on the best keyboards for the S9 plus and S9 plus Fe. It was my best accessories video I dropped recently. I really like the dexnor keyboard. I don't love the touchpad on it, but man, the travel on the keys, the back lighting, and I love the typing angle. It doesn't protect the sides, but I'm a big fan of it. Technically there's a little protection on the sides. Same for this case, because the sides of the case will stick out just a little bit. So if you drop it on the side it will land on those sides. But definitely not as protective. You could always get another case on the side and or use an outdoor cover from Samsung and use a Bluetooth keyboard too. So you have a few different options. Some are more protective and some are a little more convenient

No. The Dexnor keyboard cover does. It's similar to the iPad magic keyboard too. It has an iffy trackpad but it's my favorite keyboard cover honestly. I've been letting them sponsor me because I enjoy their keyboards. But only Samsung's ultra models have backlighting

No. The s9fe Plus is slightly fatter. So it's got the same height and it's got the same width but not the same depth. So any magnetic case will work just fine because it magnetizes to the back and fits perfectly. But if it's a case that has to fit around the device physically, because the s9 fe plus is a little chunkier it's going to have a hard time. Also don't forget the fingerprint sensor that is in the s9fe Plus, that is in the power button, and a lot of cases cover up the power button. So some cases will work with both. But it's mainly the magnetic ones like the keyboard covers

Yeah, I understand that. Personally, I like using the Samsung Outdoor Cover and just getting a nice bluetooth keyboard (like the MX keys mini). Yes, you have to maybe carry this in a little small backpack, and yes it will add a little weight. But you can use the tablet as a tablet when you need to, you get a case that's more protective, you get a case with a kickstand, and you get a nice backlit keyboard with more travel than the typical Samsung case. So I prefer bringing it in a little bag. Plus I can bring other stuff with me. Other options on Amazon will be backlit, some of them, but they are often either too small, or those options are a lot cheaper feeling. Just my experience, hope this helps.

Sure! I'm using it now on my M9 Plus, it's actually a lot more responsive even through Bluetooth than the keyboard cover anyway. For some reason, if you type too fast on the keyboard cover, a word like "you" it always leaves out the u. Rarely does this, and doesn't do it on every word, but never have problems with the mx keys mini, as long as I turn off that "shift+space" language setting (it changes languages when you hold shift+space), as long as I turn that off, I can type super fast with no issues.

Even when typing with the keyboard you can have the virtual keyboard spell checking you above, so yes. And there are some physical keyboard settings, with things like auto correct, which may depend on the app you're using, but still.

The A9+ is an 11" tablet, these tablets are 12.4" so they wouldn't fit at all. It's CLOSE to the same size as the Tab S9, that I haven't been able to test. The A9+ has the pins on the bottom, but I haven't seen any proof that it would or would not work with the S9 keyboard cover yet. I'd have to test it officially. I lean towards NO it wouldn't work, but I haven't been able to officially verify yet.

No. It wouldn't be compatible. First off, the back of the tablet has different cameras in different places. So the back of the keyboard wouldn't fit. Secondly, even if you tried the bottom part of the keyboard, those are not backwards compatible. Now the keyboard cover from the Tab S7 Plus SHOULD work with the S9 FE Plus. On the bottom (the keyboard part). But the back/kickstand part of the case wouldn't work. So it would be difficult to even keep the tablet upright while using that bottom keyboard part

You can use the FE+ with the S9+ keyboard. The regular FE works with the regular S9 keyboard. The FE/S9 will share SOME cases. Mainly the ones that magnetically attach to the back, the devices are the same width, but not the same depth, the S9 FE is chunkier. So it can use any S9 case that magnetizes to the back, but not any case that wraps around the bottom. The same principal applies to the S9 FE+ and the S9+

Hi. I am student who wants a tablet that is capable of making ppts doing assignments and gaming. I am in samsung ecosystem i have a samsung phone and a galaxy watch 6 classic. I am confused between ipad pro and tab s9+ samsung has hardware but not great apps ipad has m2 and a bunch of apps which are not available on samsung tab. Plz help me decide.. i want a device that at least works for about 4 years till the completion of my graduation..

I mean what apps are you looking for that aren't available? I'd enjoy your ecosystem and go with the Samsung. But I guess it depends on if you're missing some major app. I don't know of any significant apps you'll miss though

Keynotes has some features which powerpoint does not offer and goodnotes on android is horrible . I want a device that is powerful capable of running apps. Also the m2 chip which is way more powerful than sd 8 gen+2 .. I know after some time sd 8 gen +2 will become weak.
