Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic Vs Galaxy Watch 5 Pro

I don’t quite understand the comparison in the advantages that the galaxy watch 6 classic has an aluminum case and the galaxy watch 5 pro has a titanium case. Titanium is stronger and lighter than aluminum and steel. It is also unclear why, when comparing systems to newer models and an older one, priority is given to a newer one. But the galaxy watch 5 pro will also be updated and will also receive a new operating system

If you have a 5 Pro there's no reason to downgrade to a 6 or a 6 classic unless you just can't live without a rotating bezel or you want a heavier stainless steel body.

Oh man, I think I made a mistake with my pre order of the watch 6 classic. I currently have the first gen Galaxy watch, the watch 4 classic and the watch 5 pro. All LTE models. I love my first gen watch, it has a great look and really respectable battery life. I really liked the looks of the 4 classic but the battery SUCKS! I am using this one a s the trade in for the galaxy 6. I also have the 5 pro, respectable battery life and functions but all the aesthetics of a tuna can strapped to your wrist. If the battery sucks on this Galaxy 6, as it is smaller than the 5 pro, I will have made a mistake in purchasing it as all else being equal the true functionality is the same as the 4 Classic. This temperature stuff does'nt impress me and unavailable features such as blood pressure unavailable in the US actually doesn't work anyways, yes I've tried it. It looks like it was a mistake to jump on this thing and it will likely be a return. Hey, thanks for reading!

What do you mean smaller battery? This is comparing classic to pro, it's like middle range product vs a high-end product. A more direct comparison would be watch 6 vs watch 5 (no pro) and in that comparison watch 6 has 15 mAh more.

@@MrHadane Smaller as in 6 classic has a battery of 425mah and 5 pro has battery of 590mah. 590 is a bigger number than 425 therefore 5 pro has a larger battery and greater battery life. Both 6 Classic and 5 pro represent their "deluxe" model on their release year. If you're going to be a fanboy and stick to terms like "pro" and "classic" then by all means do so but you're just going to look stupid imo

How does the Watch 5 classic win out in protection. The Classic is a stainless steel chasis while the Pro is a lighter, stronger Titanium chasis ? Makes no sense.

Stainless steel is more scratch resistant than Titanium unless the titanium has a specific hardness coating applied. Unless you plan on standing on or running your watch over with a car, stainless steel is generally considered a better material for watches from a durability perspective. The real advantage of titanium is the weight in this use case scenario.

6 classic is bigger in size but with smaller battery. What a nonsense! Huawei watches have about a week of battery life, too bad Samsung following Apple watches with their 1-2 days life. Waited for 6 pro with bigger battery than 5 pro, and very dissapointed!

@@ahmed_ayman20098 i have 5 pro! And it lasts 5-6 days. Unfortunately 6 series shows worse result. As i said, too bad Samsung doesn't develop extended battery life like Huawei, instead they following Apple.

Huawei watches don't have Wi-Fi modules chewing up the power so you cannot answer phone calls or text on your Wi-Fi network unless you are within Bluetooth range. Also, both Apple and Samsung mirror their respective models to the watch which causes more interaction and battery usage, so the phone and the watch are one unlike Huawei which is more app orientated.

Would still buy the 5 pro. Don't have to "waste" money when the last generation is also at its best. See no reason, why I should buy the 6 classic. 5 pro will be updated regularly, akku capacity is higher, material is stronger, smaller display (isn't nessecary in this little amout of mm), lower display resolution (who cares at a smart watch?). So, I see only benefits for buying the watch 5 pro. 👍

What about the fall detection? I was not able to get it working on my Watch4 or Watch5. Nor have I been able to test this function. How should this function be tested? I noticed that all pre-watch6 state "Hard Fall Detection" and the Watch6 states "Fall Detection". To me this implies that there is something different. Was it enhanced? Getting assistance from Samsung on this has been impossible for me.

For me i prefer older chip sit and 2 mil meter less screen but to have at least 4-5 days battery that's why i am happy with the Galaxy watch 5 pro and i am not regretting waiting for the Galaxy watch 6
