My experience with Samsung watches is that the battery drains fast the first few days because it's learning you.... gets better over time. Most watches take a few days before they start making suggestions for you to improve your health. Garmin and fitbit both take a week of tracking before they tell you anything of significance. ❤Appreciate your work, liked 👍🏾 the video.

I will agree with this, i have garmin 255s music the first week i use this watch.. the battery drain so much but now (a year later) the battery can last for 3-4days, hope it also works that way on galaxy watch 6 coz i just ordered one🤭

@@NBTJacklyn I'd appreciate a follow-up type of review. Especially for fitness. I find that fitness reviewers don't really explore all of the fitness features Samsung offers... I wear MANY watches in rotation and always come back to Samsung eventually. Nothing monitors health & performance perfectly, but aesthetic is NAILED by Samsung, every time! And I love what they've done with run tracking dynamics and the breakdown of sleep on the watch!

The watch does tell you how to better your sleep and your stress. Turn on sleep coaching and it gives you # of standard things, but eventually learns what you've been lacking in and gives specific tips, like meditating in the evening more, or getting in enough steps a day. Deep sleep=physical recovery so to improve that be more active so your body has recover to do. It also gives a sleep range of being in bed from 8-9 hours as a goal to imporove sleep overall. For stress, the watch directly tells you to take deep breaths to slow down your mind and body and stay present--one of the best things you can do for near-instant stress replief.

My hands on... Received the watch yesterday at around 11 am. Charged it to full and by 9 pm it was around 50%. Charged it to full and went to bed at 12 and after 7 hours it's down to 75%. Not a watch you can relay on the battery to last anything more than 24 hours

I get three days on my Watch 5. If you activate developers options, shorten animations and leave off always on display you will see improvement. I have found Samsung watches get improved battery life once they learn your usage patterns.

With the 5 Pro you never have to worry about battery, the reason why I bought one. Even though I charge it every night, my 5 Pro is normally around 80 to 83% by the end of day 1. However, I use my watch as a Watch. It does almost everything your phone does, but I use my phone for those things.

In my opinion my watch5 Pro is still the way to go especially battery and root tracking.. hands down the Samsung has aced it with the auto workouts track back. Without even starting a workout I'll be running in and out of my house doing things gardening and all of a sudden 10 minutes in my watch tells me that I've been at a particular certain level and it's going to start a workout and actually tracks back when it started. That kicks in after 10 minutes.. I'll wait for the watch 6 Pro.. My titanium watch5 Pro is fine with scrolling because it has that little indentation to move your finger around on as opposed to that flat surface on the regular Samsung watch. Battery on the watch5 Pro blows away watch six hands down. Thanks for the video though I was not actually in the market.

Great video, very accurate IMO. I have an older "Samsung Gear S3 Frontier" long name, with the rotating bezel, and a S5 Pro with a much larger battery then either the Gear S3 or the Galaxy 6 Classic. I value battery life more than the rotating dial. I can get almost four days on the 5 Pro. No contest to me. Accuracy is "meh" on both for exercise and sleep tracking. Mostly good for consistency. Sleep accuracy is worse than actual. If it sez "good" than it's really good. If it sez "bad" then it's really bad! Total sleep time is usually accurate.

I think a lot can be said about the deep integration with controlling the phone, and vice versa. Especially, great is the use if Modes. I'm using relax mode which once setup how I like it, I can activate and deactivate from my watch. Really cool! 😎

I have been waiting for 3 years for them to reduce bezels on the watch, the first step has been taken, I hope they will reduce it even more in the future. For me this was the most important and expected thing, I thought Samsung learned the lesson from active 1 to active 2. My proposal for Samsung is to remove rotating and reduce the size of the bezels, who wants rotating, buy a watch classic, who doesn't want to take the other model.

The only concern i have is that the power button on the bottom side is not clicky and don`t have some sort of feedback. It is so strange. It clicks and it is okay on the top side. Pretty sure she's wearing the 40mm cause it looks like my size i got she has small wrist like me and is small like me so I'm pretty sure she is wearing the 40mm and the price she said is for the 40mm Bluetooth one. I have the Samsung 4 44mm also and the one she's wearing definitely appears to be the 40mm hope that helps. I also should say I really prefer the 40 mm compared to my 44mm one. Can't tell any difference in using it. It's no harder to type or read the 40mm compared to my 44mm one. But the 40 mm definitely fits my small wrist so much better no bulkiness like I felt with my 44mm one. Hope that helps

Thanks for making this video! I currently have a Watch Active 2 and all the sleep updates with the scoring actually came to my Samsung Health app a couple of days before the Unpacked event. My watch also has auto workout tracking that kicks in after 10 mins. Essentially, my Watch Active 2 has a lot of the same things that the Watch 6 has and I've been on the fence about upgrading to the Watch 6. Also, I dig the matte rose gold color my 2 has more than the gold/cream of the 6. 😅 Do you happen to know, if any, what would be the super stand out features that would be a good choice to switch over to the Watch 6? Like I'm 60% convinced to switch, butttt I need a little extra cherry on top to trulyyy convince myself to do it. 😂😂 Thanks to the help in advance!

I went from the active to watch 4 44mm. If you want the extra 2 years of updates and the hr zone go for watch 6. If not a watch 4 or 5 is a good option too since most of the features are ported over

How long had you been using the watch before you made this video? If the watch is brand new and you hadn't been using it for about 3 days, it's still in "learning mode". In other words, it's not at optimal battery function because it's in the process of learning your use patterns. After about 3 days, the watch will utilize the battery at its optimal performance, and you should get 40 hrs. of use before it needs to be recharged.

Holy crap, this was such a great review. I really like all the real world application that was discussed and it hit the things I was interested in. I had no researched the Samsung watches since they came out with the gears years ago, I bought the 6 recently and I was not aware of the 5 pro or 6 classic. I usually purchase the highest end version of devices because I want powerful long lasting devices with all the bells and whistles because I am not going to be upgrading anytime soon. This is my first smartwatch purchase, but I really like the design. I'll check it out for a while, I don't have issues with 1-2 day battery life is essentially everything is going wireless and recharging items is just common place for me now. I wish I had purchased the classic since it's sleek looking. Again, great review. I'll be checking out more vids from this place.

😂 here I am 32-33 hours later and the batteries at 39% still... so probably a 35-45 hour battery life on a smartwatch with some of the most advanced tech in a watch as well as with one of the largest watch screens ever on a smartwatch... id definitely say for what it is that is not by any means mediocre... 😂
