Galaxy Watch 6 Classic is Better Than Watch 7?

The 6 Classic is made of steel, and the crown protects the display as well. The 7 is made of aluminum, and its display is unprotected from accidental hits. The 6 Classic is compatible with wireless reverse charging, while the 7 is not. Both watches have the same battery life. The increased performance of the 7 is impressive, but the 6 Classic is not slow at all (unless you consider using it as a substitute for your phone). The 6 Classic still has to get the new Wear OS, which could make it even smoother.

The fact that 6C is made out of Stainless is a huge deal for me. I will never buy a wearable like a watch that is made out of Aluminum, especially anodized - it will get scratched up, dinked, etc, the anodizing will look like ... after a while. While stainless in it's natural color will hardly change over time and if there is some damage, I can either buff it out or re-brush the watch. That's not possible with an aluminum one.

How the fuck lo g are you planning on wearing your watch? Do you have any clue how long it takes for aluminum to show signs of wear? The watche's OS will be out of date long before you have any issues with aluminum. They make Ford f150s out of aluminum dude.

​@@electroduval831 I am talking about scratches. I work manually, my watch is a work watch. If I get scratches on my stainless watch, it's either not really visible or it can be brushed or buffed again to get pristine look. Anodizing will get ugly after it gets scratched, and you cannot really re-apply it to make it look new again. And I am not going to wear a watch with a case on it. There is reason why even the cheapest traditional watches use stainless instead of aluminum.

If you don't like heavy bulky watches then you won't like the 6 classic.. it's the reason I chose the watch 7. BTW the screen sizes on both are the same...1.3 on the smaller one and 1.5 on the bigger one

Ive had my watch 4 and buds plus since they were released. I recently bought the tab s8 plus ans then the s24 ultra so I wanted to upgrade my earbuds and watch even though they both still worked perfectly. I went with the buds 2 because I hate the buds 3 design and got the watch 6 classic instead of the 7 because I love the bezel and heard the 7 battery life is awful. I coildnt be happier with the buds 2 and watch 6 classic. Theyre not the newest models but I personally think theyre the best models.

I kept the 3 cause it had the bezel, then switched to the 5 I liked the battery life but when I found out the 6 was going to have it I upgraded cuz the bezel sets it apart from all those smartwatches in the market, the 7 is like... Watch 7 and 7 ultra is a solid upgrade ,faster processor ,double the storage , duel gps ,much smoother . As for the rotating nezel i hardley uused it on the 6 classic , which is why i traded it in for the galaxy watch ultra , absolutely no regrets

I had the 6 and now I have the 7 and I love it. When it touch the screen it automatically opens what I touched I don't have to wake up the screen by tapping the screen or pressing a button to wake it before opening something. The battery last a lot longer. I would say 1.5 times longer. Heart rate seems to be better as well and the new faces are upgraded, which you can buy other ones but I like the original samsung informative face amd they gave it 2 more things I can add to it. I love it the watch

I'm about to check out the 6 classic and 7 ultra. I run every day, but that's it. I don’t care about 20 different health monitors or tracking. I just don't want to carry my phone on runs any more & I like to listen to books or podcasts while running. I charge my phone every day so I don’t care about charging another device so much either.

So many people say that about the 6 classic. I have it it did doesn't lag at all for me. It's always been super snappy. If you go to the Developer Options and turn the animations down to .5x it works like a champ.

Honestly hate it the 5 pro was the last watch I was truly happy with amazing battery life and it just worked. 6 classice I have to charge every day won't last the full day if you use heavily. Laggy especially when booting up. The only thing it has going for it is the look. It looks nice.

6 classic was too heavy ..was super uncomfortable to sleep with ..some nights i had to take it off ..the 7 is super light ..I hate taking it off ..watch 6 classic was super laggy ..many many times ..I'd click left and it would jump several spots to the right .....I have not had 1 lag moment with the 7 ..even the touch bezel has not messed up once ...before I got the watch 7 I just assumed the 6 classic looked better .but ..on wrist ..I have the 40 mm..it's a stunner ..I haven't even changed the band yet because it flows so nicely ..but really ...the 7 is way better in every way

Three days on the 6 Classic 47mm?! Mine lasts 48hrs only, withtout LTE, no GPS and no AOD. And of course the 6 Classic has the temperature sensor. But the 7 has newer and better sensors.
