@brandonr4427 it's going well believe it or not. Turned off adaptive brightness and Always on Display so when my watch turns on it shows its 3,000 nits beauty. Very comfortable to wear and stands out in a field of everyone's Apple watches. Highly recommend it 👍 Got 20% off mine so paid £479.

One thing that I can say about the Watch 7 Ultra is Samsung finally fix the overheating during calls issue, in the several previous iterations of the Galaxy watch have had this issue after being on a call for more than 2 or 3 minutes the call would end due to overheating. We've been waiting for this fix for a long time!!!😅

I was excited about it, mainly due to the sensors and powerful processor, and the 10ATM rating. 2:44 It's NOT good for scuba diving! This is per Samsung's own web page. Not below 1.5 meters! The pressure rating is only static, not dynamic which scuba diving would subject it to. Finally, Samsung is banning some apps available on the Google Playstore from being installed on the watch. That really turns it from a well rounded smartwatch into a sanitary appliance.

i certainly wont be upgrading to any Samsung watch until they sort the battery life out. Surely at least 1 weeks battery life is not hard to supply these days. I changed to Samsung after my fitbit and it lasted nearly 2 weeks! Come on Samsung, i want to run in a straight line for a week, not around and around my house to keep within 50 meters of a charging port.

@@LonghornsLegend The Trail Band is stretchy nylon/elastic. To adjust, half of the band is doubled which is okay, but it's never centered. My issue is with the clasp. It hooks over the bar on the adjuster. It's hard to latch and harder to undo. Certainly no quick on and off. My Watch 6 had a clasp band that could be centered and was an easy on and off. I'm very disappointed in the Trail Band. Looking for something better.

I got the Ultra because it was only $229.99 as I care less about its health options, so those features were immediately disabled as it should get 5 days worth of battery life just like the watch5 pro could when it was optimized. The Ultra's performance is much better.

Switched to Garmin after using the Galaxy Watch for years. However, the last one had a sensor that heated up and burned my wrist. Garmin has been great, but I'm tempted to give the Galaxy a shot again because I enjoyed the whole Samsung ecosystem.

If you're using your Garmin for fitness then stick with Garmin or Apple watches. First results for sensors have shown this to be basically the same crap from the last three generations

I like how you touched on the OnePlus watch 2. I was due a new watch from the 4 classic and was either going with the ultra or OnePlus. Price wasn't a major factor however trying to explain to people you picked a 600 quid watch over a 230 quid watch when even now I'm struggling to understand what features I would be loosing out on. In your opinion how do you compare the two? So far loving the battery life. The fitness suite actually impressed me with the walking tracking kicking in and mapping my route. Heart rate and sleep tracking seem great too.

Since you said you don't care about the price, get the ultra, it's much more durable and from most other reviews I've seen it has accurate sensor and GPS tracking, the battery life is more than normal smartwatch battery because this is two days compared to the one day or less on other watches, but if you don't care about all those get the normal watch 7 or maybe the OnePlus watch, anyone you wish I guess

The Quantified Scientist released his initial report on this watch a few days ago and it's not good. HR and sleep tracking are typical Samsung, that is, they are very inaccurate. The GPS accuracy is just OK, nothing to write home about.

Took the opportunity while my wife was ordering the flip to add this to basket. Added in a minimum 30 quid trade in of a no brand Chinese fitness tracker I found lying in a drawer and took the price down to 266 with a free trail strap. Certainly wouldn't pay 600 for it but seems a bit of a bargain at the price I paid.

You can’t scuba dive in it. It will only last 10 mins at 10 ATM. It’s okay for snorkelling. Ultra 2 if you want a smartwatch for scuba or something from Garmin.

After deliberating on it for long enough, I don't think the Galaxy Watch Ultra V1 is for me. While a lot of the new health features sound cool, the no rotating bezel or even digital crown is a deal breaker for me. I guess I'll just upgrade to the Watch 6 classic when i feel it's upgrade time.
