This worked! Thank you!!! For anyone else with issues, have the software and files ready before you put the watch in download mode. Netodin3 also needs to be open before you start. If you started download mode first and dont have the netodin ready, you need to exit the download mode by holding the power button down to back out of it.

I appreciate your brief tutorial. This method is the way to go. For me useing the other methods did remove the demo status but still left it in retail mode. Your method made my watch like it was fresh out of the box. You know, when I saw the Odin message turn green and say "Pass", it was Happy Hour. Thank you.

Thanks a lot Terry!! Worked like charm. Important note to run the netodin as an administrator otherwise the watch wouldn't flash. Also very important to have the watch charged, and not sure if it was relevant but I also made sure that the the reactivation lock is turned off in the galaxy wearable app on the phone. Also the video was a bit hard to watch sidewise on computer screen, so I rotated these bits if anyone needs here is an edited video kzbin.info/www/bejne/qou4q2yujKmhpKM . Hey Terry. Excellent video. I just have a problem trying to connect watch to PC. I can't see the exact settings in the video (At 2min50sec). I have two different modes on watch - WPS and AP. The PC will see the watch on Wifi, but the connection on the watch will time out: "Connection fail: connection timed out (110)". Any help on this?

okay do you have the file for both watches in sperate folders and do the watches 1 at a time, run Odin as administrator, if you get stuck reset the watch and start over

When the watch says searching for ap 1 tap the button twice and it will change to connection mode please reset your watch and start from the beginning

Okay, I’m still having issues with getting it to connect with my pc, it shows the IP for a moment then says connection timed out. Is there anything other than Odin that need to be installed before this works?

great video, I have been trying this with correct firmware for the 820 and the 835, but Odin just says ""all threads completed (succeed 0 / fail 0)". How do I remedy this? Also, please any link to the SM R840 firmware files?

Do over the entire process again take your time if possible use a different flash file

I've tried all that, but Odin refuses to connect even though my laptop is connected to the phone. XDA developers say the only way is to open the phone, solder a USB connection to the phone and plug directly into the laptop.

No need to do all that.. just go to the demo mode located on the 3rd page on the watch. 1-Go to Samsung retail mode 2-enter pin 5444 3-scroll to service enable, (select disable) 4- put in password M729Q16K8546 5-watch will reset and disable live demo settings

I've figured out how to make everything work on the watch 4 classic even mad with connect to my phone just can't get rid of the battery staying at 50%

Did you try reseting your watch or try flashing the firmware again it it's showing the 50% still then either the battery is bad or the watch BMS is the issue
