How To Get Blood Pressure And ECG On Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 Latest 2021 Method !!

July 24 2021 - followed instructions to change Active Watch 2 CSC to UK region....then installed provided modified SHM app and ECG app (as described in video). When all done, BP would not be available (no compatible watch found), and ECG although available, would start and reset after 5 seconds. I eventually got all to work...key for me was to check for and install updates to watch...I did about 3 updates to watch, after which ECG and BP are functional. First update was to get watch back to Tizen 5.5 from the stock 4.x installed as part of the described procedure. But then 2 additional watch updates were available. Don't wait for notification of the update...actually check for and install update from phone under Galaxy Wear App. This worked for me. Hope it helps...

Omg it worked...! Samsung had just finished flat out lying to me. Before I bought the watch they said it would work with any phone. I bought the watch, it had no ECG or Samsung health apps installed. @@johngill829 Did you purchase your watch from the Philippines? If so, the watch settings may still be set to XTC (Philippines). You may need to change it by following the steps shown in this video. In my case, I set it to KOO (Korea) since the feature is already available in Korea.

@@faisalharun7047 You're welcome.. Is not very complex. You will need a laptop or pc with wifi.. And all the files you need are already provided in that video description. Also, like technoproz, dante63 is also very supportive. I really dont think it will harm your watch. Also you cannot go wrong if you follow the instructions. One tip i would say is just install jdk 15.0.2.. You can give a try... Ecg works well just by installing the SHM and ecg apk. Only for BP you need laptop/PC

Hi, Great write up! I followed it all the way through and first set it to UK (BTU). It seemed to work as it asked me foe english UK or Ireland immediately after reset. the problem is when the watch gets paired it seems to overwrite the changes and no BP or ECG is shown. I confirmed this by following the process again and setting it to Korea (KOO). When done the watch showed text in Korean but again when I paired the watch it reverted to English and no BP, ECG are on the watch. Is there something I can do to correct this? I live in the US.

Thanks to TechnoProz for this. I did encounter a problem. I managed to change the region on my Watch 3 SM R840 to UK, then downloaded the Health monitor app. When I open it it says 'no compatible watch found'. Says that bp and ecg require a Galaxy Watch Active 2 or later to work. Also, the Health monitor app was not pushed to the watch. Is there another Health monitor app available? The other issue I found is that Samsung Pay at first said something to the effect that your watch has been modified and Samsung pay is not available. I downloaded the SHM app again and installed, still the same note in Health monitor app. Strangely though Samsung Pay is now working.

After my unsuccessful attempt I decided to try again. I first did a factory reset on the watch, setting the region as UK. I then went through the whole process as shown by TechnoProz. CSC was set to UK (BTU). Once completed I did a restore from backup and did a watch software update. To my pleasant surprise, BP and ECG were activated and I could access both from SHealth Monitor on my watch. Sp02 was also activated and can be accessed from SHealth on my watch. ECG and SP02 results show up on Shealth on my phone but BP results do not. BP and ECG results show up on SHealth on my phone. I cannot initiate a measurement for any of the three from my phone only from the watch which is not a big deal. Samsung Pay also seems that it will work although I have not gone through the full setup process of adding a credit card yet. Thank you to TechnoProz, your work is much appreciated.

While I understand that the procedure for changing CSC is same for GW3 and GWA2, the required combination and stock firmware files are different (as you have pointed out yourself in the comments). Could you please post a video specifically for the Watch Active 2 - which is updated for the current firmware that ships out of the factory? Most of us have Tizen 5.5.0.2 and Firmware R820XXU1DUA3. Your older video is good but files are outdated. If it's not too much trouble and if you can find the time, could you make a CSC change video for users on the current DUA3 firmware? Lots of us at XDA are also waiting for your GWA2 video. Thanks for all your hard work and patient explanation so far...

@@theovanpoucke4498 For ECG, all you have to do is download the Samsung Health monitor app, and the ecg top installer. Links under the video.They will end up in the download folder on your phone. Use files app to open SHM apk (SMH1.1.0.175.mod4.apk) to install. Then open the ECG installer (called docs.apk) and install.You may need to give permission to install apk files on phone and watch.

UNfortunately I get this error for Blood Pressure monitor - To use this feature you need a Galaxy watch Active 2 or Galaxy Watch 3 model that was release in a country where this feature has been approved. I did everything, but when downloading the file through odin using wifi download, at the end odin said successful but my watch said download failed. Since then my Galaxy Watch 3 seems to be in bricked mode. please help.

Well the ecg tpk is working fine in my Mi 11x pro phone with Samsung Heath app, we can use this ECG feature in any non samsung phones too

Which csc code you chose? And does bp, ecg, stress and sp02 ...all these work fine? I also have poco phone...so can you guide me to do that and did your watch faced any performance issues or any abnormal thing after this operation? Please do reply.

I really wish there was an easier way for people like us without desktop computer to get the blood pressure. The ECG is working great but I can't access the Blood pressure.

The process fails me when I try to flash on odin. It says "Fail. Not supported files". I also had to change the filename to get odin to accept it, as odin wouldn't accept the .7z or .md5 filename extensions. Any tips?

my watch got bricked :'( when i tried to flash it using stock firmware. Now even if flash it using combination firmware, its not giving me a pass in ODIN getting download error detected in download(wireless mode). I am so Screwed :(
