I have everything Apple for media and its continuity but the Flip is so refreshing to look at. I love innovation so much. They win in that department - I definitely have to have one as my second phone

I have the Samsung S22 Ultra. I am using the Samsung message app to send text messages. When I send a text message to someone I get the visual notification, "Delivered" under the text message, to let me know, the message was delivered. But at the same time I also get an audio sound WITH the visual notification to let me know the text was sent. I get the sound that is the default sound that is under the “sounds and vibration under the “notification sound”. I do NOT want to get an audio sound after I send the text message. I only want to see the visual notification, "Delivered", to let me know, the message was delivered. How do I stop the audio sound, when I send text messages? I also disabled the option “hear outgoing message sounds” under the general settings. Let me also add. The audio sound is always heard when I send a text message to someone who has an iphone.

ive been using flip 4 since it was launched. i love it but i wish they improve the cameras in the future as this is my preferred phone format but the camera and battery life are abit of a sacrifice

The average daily use was 19% in the video. Did Samsung improve the battery so much that just around 20% battery is enough for 1 day?

The battery stats I showed were early on and not what I was actually getting once I really started using the phone as my daily driver. That specific clip was more for broll purposes.

there are many reviews on the Samsung website and Amazon that indicates the hinge has gone bad on their models after just a few months.

I think that was the Flip3, and it does appear that has a too high failure rate. I expect that is why Samsung was giving $900 trade-ins for the Flip3 to upgrade to the Flip4; they were worried in year 2 even more Flip3’s would fail. So buy them back and rip them up for parts. I am hoping the Flip4 has better quality but only time will tell. Looking on eBay, people have realised the Flip3 was not great as after 9 months it was under £300 secondhand, ergo, very few people trusted a year old Flip3.

Iterate update, so those of us unsold on this design, a bit too feminine for me. I like the industrial, function rather than form of the RAZR, despite that being not as refined. The tech is a work in progress, so a pass on many of the negatives of the Flip4. But I do feel that the gap, aspect ratio and crease are a long way from where the market will be in a few years. The wider RAZR and P50 Pocket are def the way forward. If you are a flip person, for the trendy look or novelty, then all I would say is get a deal, as $1000 is a shocking rip-off. The US trade-ins by Samsung are great, or buy on a market place where they are at supply and demand prices, around 40% off, so about £620 in UK new/sealed (£1000 with Samsung).

The cameras are good in perfect lighting, but terrible otherwise. Also, the battery is absolutely atrocious and the slow charging doesn't help it. After 3 weeks I had to go back to my old phone. Hoping in the future these issues are addressed.

Not sure I agree. Other advantages: the "front" cameras blow any other phone's front cameras (as you can use main cams).

@@Stalonage I just think I'm used to much better battery performance with my previous phone (coupled with much faster charging). All the reviews stating the battery was adequate and a big step up from the flip 3 was what ultimately got me to buy the phone. I don't want to know how bad the battery is on the flip 3 after owning the 4 and it's supposedly so much better.

@@Omfcody1 yeah it's really unfortunate! No charging all day after taking off the charger at 7am and I'm still at 46% , def wish it was a bit better but for my use case it's been better than my s22 ultra u had previously lol
