Yep , in my neck of the woods(australia ) the premium model iphone 11 pro max is just a penny shy of $2500 while the foldable 2 is a buck off $ 3000, so not a lot of difference between them really , everything is pricey here too mate .

I just gave up and bought it. Here in Sweden if you purchase it with a phone operator you get tied with them 2 years but you get free mobile and data plan, and that made me pull the trigger. Even better, if next year a new even better one comes out, you can just give this back and get the new one in change for no additional cost (but the 2 years re start). I suggest you to take a look if your local operators offer similar plans, my data plan was 24 bucks per month, and having it free with the phone effectively allows me to have it at day one with a 500 bucks discount (assuming I will stay with them for the next 2 years, but I've already been with them for way more than that so I don't see why not)

3:45 Samsung decided not to include the 40W fast charging primarily due to the minimal difference the charging speeds have, especially later on in charging the devices, when they're bound to slow down more. Much higher numbers don't always equal much higher results lol

Well, Samsung did not deliver the pre-ordered Z Fold 2s in the UK as promised. Many customers (myself included) called Samsung to get an answer. We were told that they would be delivered on the 17th of September and then got a text message with dates ranging from end of September to early October. So I’m thinking about cancelling my order, as are many in the Samsung forum. Being lied to is not acceptable.

Bravo! Wowmazing iteration. It’s what Apple should have made: the iFold. Samsung should make different price points with different specs. $899 budget edition, $1,999 current edition and $10K baller edition. Make it much z-axis-thinner, and offer an alternative slightly x-axis-wider version. Great review. Watching this on my Galaxy fold. This phone looks great. Most of the features shown, I can do now. I figured reviewers would still point out the outer display is still too skinny once I see the unveiling in August. Some think the outer display is unreachable since its too tall now🤷‍♂️. I think Samsung gave most people what they wanted with this one. Ill wait till Fold 3 hits to buy again.

The crease is unoticeable while using it. In order to really see it and notice it you have to be at certain angles. Unlike the first fold were it was noticeable even looking directly at the phone.

Really don't understand the appeal of these fold phones. People are kidding themselves if they think they are going to get real work done on phones. Any real work needs to be done on laptops or desktops. Multitasking on these phones is so gimmicky. Compare working on this to an actual PC and you will see how useless it is. For light work needs such as emails, messaging, video calls etc, current phones are enough

This phone ISN'T meant for YOU. Foldables phones aren't meant to replace a laptop. They are meant to provide CONVENIENCE. Aside from wearing a watch, most people only carry one device with them at a time when they go out which is their phone. They don't like to carry a phone AND a tablet/laptop. Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a narrow one-handed phone when folded and a wide two-handed tablet when unfolded. It can fit in your pocket. You can't fit an iPad Mini in your pocket without wearing cargo pants/shorts or stretchy sweat pants. Z Fold 2 solves a problem. Even a CONTRACTOR recommends buying the 1st gen Fold. Go check out the channel Contractors POV. Foldables are the future. Wait until Samsung releases a 10-inch+ Bi-Fold like from the HBO series Westworld.

If you want to work on a Fold like on a PC - Samsung DEX is at your service. Big screen is not for work - it`s for comfort reading and viewing anything. So you have a phone-size device with tablet level of comfort.

I have a V30+, I had 3 phone which were dust and waterproof, i got used to swimming, hiking and trail riding and getting my phone wet so much i thought i could never go back. Until my V30's screen got shattered from a fall and now its been 6 months since i made wet, even tho i live in a rainy place. So anyone can live with waterproof phones.
