Thanks for all the info! I was really bummed when I found out I could only use a couple of apps on the cover screen (but amazed as well that I can watch youtube and netflix 😂). Good thing we can install the good lock! Totally a game changer!!! 😍 You can also use gifs for the cover screen if you want to make it look cuter 😁

You can also open the camera app in unflipped mode and click the icon to show a preview on the cover screen. Lets you use any photo mode like night mode while seeing cover display for easy selfie framing

@@aishiheheofficial it's the best phone I've ever owned. I love how it feels in my hand. It's build quality is impressive. The only thing I have an issue with is accidentally hitting the fingerprint sensor and It could maybe benefit from a small cut out or a lip for your thumb can open it easier.

I, too, have been around for years and have had problems with same. Today, I also use Malwarebytes as well just in case. I have 3 different scanners on my computer to maximize protection.

Way back when, I had really convoluted problems with both Norton and McAfee. When they went sideways, it was a real horror to completely remove them. I don't know about them today, but whenever I read articles on top AV software, not mentioned much.

Saki, on the outer cover screen I would like to change the picture (by adding a picture of my own) of the stock (the cover screens that came with the flip 5) screen that shows the picture of a beach with water. I would like to insert a picture of my own, instead of the beach. Is this possible or do I have to create a whole new cover screen for the outer display?

Go to cover screen, scroll through the deck of wiggets, hold the one with the picture in the corner , Gallery or color shows up. choose a picture from your gallery

so within the first minute of this video I was already lost. I just bought the galaxy z flip 5 but you start off saying to look in settings for the section "battery and device..sometihng" anyway, my phone does not have settings set up that way! it has one section that just says "battery" and another separate section that says "device whatever" so I was already lost and couldnt follow the rest because I attempted to sort of follow thru just using the battery section but that didnt work then i tried to follow just using the device control or watever it was but that was all different also. How can this be? Are there different versions of the galaxy z flip 5? I mean, i dont get it. unfortunatly this video was utterly useless to me due to the differences in how things are labelled and organized in your phone, which is the exact same phone as mine, as far as I know.

Trying to find out how to Close an App from Good Lock launcher on the Flex Screen ? Now, I have to open the phone to close the app, defeating the purpose of the Flex screen

What I do is press the square button at the bottom of the screen and it brings you to the flex clocknand then go to good lock apps again and you'll be able to enter another one. I dont thibnk theres a way to close it, only go to one or another.

By flex screen, do you mean the cover screen? If you swipe up from the bottom left corner it should bring up the menu with the home and back button, that is always shown when you are in the regular cover screen.

​@@Eeeve23yeah, the cover screen, Samsung is now calling it the Flex Screen. The Apps from the Good Lock Launcher doesn't work the same way, to fully close them you have to open the phone. Hopefully an update will fix it.

On the screen you are viewing the video, touch settings (a little white circle with a dot in the middle) when the menu comes up, touch play back speed. Now you can change the speed to 0.75 or 0.5 which is slower. Enjoy the video.

@@reverend_wintondupree hardware. Wifi sometimes does not want to connect. It drives me nuts. All other phones and devices in my house are ok but mine. I struggle then power down for an hour and it reconnects. Phone calls sometimes don't work. I have to reboot phone. People are like I tried to call you but you didn't answer. Then I reboot my phone and it works again. I've already taken advantage of Samsungs free screen replacement. The crease started to tear. I was shocked. After 7 months it started. Luckily there is an authorized repair center in town and they repaired it in two days. Also it's heavy and long. When holding my thumb can't always reach the top and I know you can shrink the screen but then it is so small you can hardly read what's on the screen. Simple actions like with my S8, take it out double click power button and take a picture. Now, take phone out flip open, double click and by now it is too late to capture the moment. It's just been tough and I really thought this was going to be an awesome phone. The flip 5 may be an improvement but I'm going back to traditional style phone after this is paid off. I have to struggle for two more years!
