I've got the same issue after two weeks and I worry it'll get worse or lead to a failure. When I close mine the free ends don't line up like the hinge is wonky. Great phone - love it, my Flip2 was great too. I wonder if the wider hinge (with gap) is better, as it seems to give that fully open lock feel better.

I just noticed that my Flip5 has the same hinge problem. I went from Flip3 to Flip5 and I thought I was crazy at the beginning, but when I put the phone on the table, I noticed that indeed it's not completely straight, something that didn't happen with Flip3. Also Flip3 has a better shape, it was much easier to open it with one hand. The fingerprint sensor was also bigger and it worked 99.9% of the time, while with Fip5 it works only 90%. I feel kinda disappointed that I switched.

I feel you same things been happening to me I'm about to switch back to my S23 Ultra for good until the S24 Ultra gets released and then I might switch to that

I thought it was just me. I thought I noticed it slightly slanted. It does drive me a little crazy. But I try to not notice it or it will bug me.

I had the same problem and now got it to service and replacing hinge ofcourse on guarantee

unfortunately they changed only the screen protector and told me there is no need to change the hindge ....although they told me that doesnt sit straight....

I have a green line in the middle where it folds at so the bottom part of my phone glitches/flashes white sometimes.

I just noticed the hinge issue today, the 10th day of my flip 5. I installed a phone case a week after I bought the phone.

i think with a case on does not seem to bad i use a case for my phone some people do not try it with a case on peace out brother
