With all due respect, you didn't stress enough one of the most important & worthwhile features for a flip phone: The ZFlip's LACK of ability to use the Google Assist HANDS-FREE while closed. (The ZFlip used to do this...until it stopped long ago, with no fix in sight). Conversely, the Razr does this perfectly, making it a truly hands-free device! That alone makes it the only choice!

The charger being included probably depends on the region. My razr came with a 68w fast charger here in the UK.

The whole crease comparison depends on the reviewer. Lots of reviewers already said the z flip crease is almost gone. Why are others saying its more noticeable. Makes no sence.

You can distinguish influencers, who got bought by motorola this way, because yeah... I have tested the Zflip6 in store and its really unnoticeable.

@@chomp5558or, in your case, you can distinguish fanboys... I own both and the crease is there for both. Is it better than last year? Yes. Is it completely gone? No. Is there any meaningful difference between how visible they are in each phone compared to the other? NO... Thanks for playing though

@@curtismiller1854Owner of both here, and you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about... The hinges are very similar with only a minor difference in tightness and you know what? Moto can hold every position just like the flip, but it being ever so slightly easier to fold, makes it possible to actually flip the phone open one handed without risking launching it into orbit.

@@curtismiller1854 dude relax. You got the 12R. Not a big deal. It is like the cheapest variant you could get. Not even the regular OnePlus 12. That is ok. You can afford what you can afford, no one is judging. As for Android 15, my pixel 7pro got it before you even dreamt of getting it. Also if that's the best phone you ever had, patience, one day you'll get a really good one

You have to get to know with Motorola software like Smart Connect or Family Space and even more, btw motorola has 68w charger included in some countries

The Samsung has superior build quality, better gorilla glass, better moisture/dust resistance, and enhanced Aluminium shell (yes Aluminium is a real term for the metal used in both products). Its a better product than the Moto imo for quality that matters most. I have the Flip4 and its been great but I always upgrade every other release cycle. Just ordered the Flip6 today through Verizon. Got a $400 trade-in for my Flip4 (if you order directly through Samsung they have a $500 trade-in value for the 4). I ordered from Verizon just for convenience. They are also offering a free upgrade to 512gb vs the standard 256gb. I'm looking forward to it primarily 3 reasons. First is the new lens upgrade. Photos and videos from the Flip4 are disappointing, especially since Samsung is known for its superior lens technology. In addition, the new AI capabilities (which were not even mentioned in this video) are outstanding. I'm heading to Europe in a few weeks and look forward to using the new language AI capabilities. Another important feature that was not covered in this video: the vapor chamber for heat diffusion. It doesn't sound like a big deal but it is. The Flip4 gets VERY hot when connecting to bluetooth devices and Android Auto. The vapor chamber is designed to disperse the heat. All in all a very nice upgrade to an already great product with superior build quality.

Yes bro i sold S 24 ( small exynos) and buy flip 6 because today phones disagn is boring and looks like a bricks flip phones are very practi al in days usage work...car... i cosiddered buy moto razr but in moto flip story Something missing for me i dont now ?? I buy z flip 6 Z flip have better softver glass protection ...... and better looking on table with coffe😀

Motorola has a dark line at the top but bottom covers screens in full. However, to me, the camera lenses will blocking the screen, the screen looks more bigger, but it's actually worse when watching videos or reading something it's blocked by the lenses. However, Samsung z flip 6 completely separates the camera lenses from screen, so the dark line at the bottom does not interfere with viewing and reading the video, which is good. I don't understand why some peoples worring about the front screen size open the dame phone you can view better Small screen is for quick view use most of the time anyway.

Payless for features and functions, yes, Motorola cuz cheaper, and more affordable for similar looks. However, once mastering Samsung z flip 6, you will not talk about the pricing!

@@ur491you make people laugh. Moto has a fully usable outer screen by ANY app you have installed. On the Razr you need to go round hoops to make it happen. And then, being almost pure Android, I can instal (and have done so) any feature I want that the Z flip has (yes even live translate is doable), on the other hand, I cannot for the life of me get rid of the freaking bloatware Samsung has installed on my Flip 6 (yes, I own both)... I got to live with 2 email apps, 2 store apps and so on and so forth...

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but the fact that the cover screen on the Motorola is so functional is almost a deterrance for me. It does look beautiful, but I think the idea is to have just enough functionality for you not to open the phone all the time. But if it does almost the same as the inner screen, it's just a small yet uncomfortable screen to use. Samsung could improve the cover screen a little more, yes, but keeping the functionalities limited, I believe.

Only get a new phone every 4-5yr because I'm not interested in each little small bump in tech. I mostly use it for talk/text and maps and audiobooks, which I'm looking forward to using mainly the smaller screen for. Don't need fancy gamer stuff and rarely watch videos on it. I'd rather read a book on a plane and make sure my battery doesn't die, tyvm. Having it upgradable for SEVEN software iterations is exactly what this user is looking for. Longevity + more portable size = Flip for the win!

I agree in believing it all boils down to the individual's preference as stated in the video: The thing that sticks out for me is that Samsung does offer a solid product in terms of its durability and RELIABILITY as far as software support & repairs. personally, I'm in the trades so I'm constantly on the go and work in various types of conditions. as careful as I'd like to think I am, I have dropped my previous phones multiple times (my S10 took a spill even with an otterbox case and the screen cracked and had no chance of revival) ...just going about my business and simply having a support system as dependable like Samsung's over Motorola's is a total WIN in my book. My own reasons for switching from a traditional slab phone to a foldable is the new, compact form factor. I like to keep a minimalistic approach to my personal effects, and prefer to use a belt holster for my phone - whether i'm working or going casual. having an encased 6.7" slab phone on your belt isn't exactly comfortable. I'm really looking forward to this change. 7/24 delivery date! w00t! of course there will be tradeoffs, but as far as the Flip6 has come, I'm feeling the time is right to "join the flipside" - cheesy quoting Samsung's commercial, i know, but practical nonetheless. wish me luck! if i remember, i might post again in another month or so to share my real world experience

I currently have the RAZR 2023 base model and wouldn't mind switching to Z Flip 6 if it wasn't for Samsung's One UI being integrated with stock android.... for example having both Samsung's Galaxy app store and Google's Play Store is kind of annoying to me and having BIXBY assistant and Google's A.I. assistant. I like how Motorola uses stock android without adding their own UI overlay like Samsung and just having 1 A.I. assistant and App Store instead of 2. So I will be more likely to stick with Motorola and upgrade to the RAZR 2024 models

I disagree with the software on samsung. My S21 ultra is going crap every time I had updated. And having pixel leaks in screen since 6mos of use. Disappointed in it. My s10 was amazing. Trying the razr. Waiting for delivery 😅

The Motorola razr has an overall better design than the Samsung flip but if I had a choice between the 2 it will be the flip all day. I own the 2023 model and it's a great device, has a beautiful display the same as the 2024 model just less nit brightness. It's smooth but gets too hot.

A bigger more versatile front screen makes all the difference. Cameras are cameras. Speed needs are rarely needed or used. And a bigger battery is always convenient. Therefore... Razr it is! Thanks for the comparison!!

If you mean split screen, then yes. It can run two apps at once. You can also launch and use any app from the cover screen by default. You can also do that on the Z Flip 6, but you need some tweaking to be able to run all apps on the cover screen.

The Razr can run multiple apps minimized in the background on the cover screen. The z flip cannot. This makes a huge difference when you are mutitasking.

Many people don't even know half of the features of Samsung phones. And it seems like almost all KZbinrs haven't really mastered the functions of their phones. So they don't really know the value of new cell phone models. Therefore, they only talk about basic features, design, and price. Samsung's price is their reputation. Like all famous brands Anyway, if you watch those phone reviews, Korean student KZbinrs are providing much more detailed information about the features and functions of Samsung phones. Because they have mastered the features of new cell phone models.

I prefer the look and aesthetics of the flip 6 but prefer the value (money wise) of the Razr 😅 I just can't get over the cameras in the screen of the front display of the razr, I prefer samsung's folder shape. Its big enough for what's needed while looking pretty.

I feel like I'm the only person in the world that thinks that the Motorola front screen looks tacky! The two big cameras just free floating right in the middle of the screen feels like someone was getting to the end of a big assignment turn in and just threw something together last minute,

@VeedoCapone Yeah but they're still like... there, IN the screen. I super don't like that phones have gone that way with designs. Like I get it's popular and I'm in the minority here, but man.... I just don't like my screen having an immovable *thing* obscuring my view.

@VeedoCapone To clarify, I'm 10000% ordering the flip 6 tomorrow, I absolutely adore the whole concept of modern flip phones and this will be my first one. I was mostly commenting on the camera setup. I'm glad there's options for whatever the preference is. Personally, the more reliable updates and processor of the flip 6 are what steered me that way. The camera setup I like is just a bonus 🙂

The cover screen view can sit just above the cameras same as the zflip. You just tap the bottom of the screen. With the razr at least you have a choice of full screen or not. And since both phones have their cameras on the front cover screen. Motorola gives us a choice of blocking, not blocking your full view.
